Skooba Design Adds Tenba Photo Bags to Portfolio

In response to many customer requests, Laptop bag manufacturer Skooba Design has partnered with the well-known Tenba brand to add photo/video carrying cases to Skooba’s product offering. Skooba will act as a reseller for the 35 year-old photo brand, which is a division of a separate company.

The Skooba website is set up with quick links to match your lifestyle needs. One of four tabs – photographer, fashionista, road warrior and tech lover – will take you to a page with bags suited to fit your exact needs.

I love this new offering of the Tenba bag lineup. I still use one of their earlier satchel style models every day at my “day job.” So many packets and compartments and built of a ballistic-style nylon that will not wear out. (The same cannot be said for my trusty old Domkie photojournalist bag.)

According to Skooba Design CEO Michael Hess, “Skooba has had constant requests from customers to offer camera bags, but we’ve remained focused primarily on cases for laptops and related portable electronics and accessories, and as a small business that has kept us plenty busy.”

Hess says that as focused as the company is on its own-branded products, Skooba is equally dedicated to making customers happy, so “sooner or later we were determined to find a way to meet this demand. We decided that the best way to do this—rather than starting from scratch with an entirely new line of camera bags in an already-crowded market—was to partner with an established leader in the business and make already-great, proven products available to the Skooba customers who have asked for them.”
