Pelican ProGear Cases for the iPhone 5

Judie and I spent time at the Pelican Booth during CES 2013 back in January. While there we saw their assortment of heavy-duty coolers, their line of Pelican ProGear backpacks and their upcoming Pelican ProGear Cases for the iPhone 5. The Pelican ProGear Cases are now shipping and offer a great addition to the growing number of tough cases available for Apple’s current smartphone offering.

The first of the Pelican ProGear Cases for the iPhone 5 is the Pelican ProGear Vault. The ProGear Vault is super-tough and adds great protection from the elements. In addition it offers “insulating elastomeric shock and impact protection” from up to 72 inches. The Pelican ProGear Vault is water-resistant thanks to a special membrane, offers a special screen cover with anti-scratch technology, has an optical-grade camera port and is secured with hex-head machine screws. The Pelican ProGear Vault is available in several color combinations for $79.95. Check it out here.

The second of the Pelican ProGear Cases for the iPhone 5 is the Pelican ProGear Protector. The Pelican ProGear Protector has a tough, shock-deflecting outer shell that “saves the iPhone’s glass face from direct impact on flat surfaces”. It also features an interior lining that protects the phone from scratches and impact. It too is available in several color combinations. It has an MSRP $39.95. Check it out here.
