Kingdom Tales 2 Major features:
Right at the beginning ofKingdom Tales 2 you learn the story of a kingdom, a princess and a blacksmith. A tale of love denied and a chance to be united by winning a contest to help expand the kingdom. All of which is little more than a bare-bones setup draped over a fairly standard kingdom building game.
The basis of Kingdom Tales 2 is pretty standard: you need to build homes, resource centers, transport aids, and so on. Then you need to collect resources in order to build more things to achieve your goals. While the game resembles some online building games, this is purely mission based, so if you leave the game you lose your in-level progress.
With each level things get more intense and demanding, and your goals will often play off each other so you need to carefully balance priorities in order to meet all mission goals.
Ease of use/Overall performance:
Kingdom Tales 2 controls like a very standard kingdom builder: tap to select, then tap again to choose an action to complete, tap on resources such as gold to collect, which sends a worker to collect the items.
The graphics and music are excellent, serving to advance the light plot and sustain the fun atmosphere. The graphics are effectively cartoon-ish with detailed backgrounds and characters.
Would use again/recommend?: This is a tough call – on the one hand I enjoyed the game, but at the same time I am not sure I would think to reinstall it again. It is a game that is pleasant but not great, so I would recommend installing the free demo and checking it out. If it grabs your attention, buy it!
