It’s engineered with Corning Gorilla Glass, which is a super-strong tempered glass that is resistant to scratching and shattering. This screen protector has an 8H pencil hardness rating, which means that any pencil lead with a hardness of 9H may be able to scratch the glass, but anything 8H or below will not. Please keep in mind that this hardness scale has nothing to do with the Mohs Scale of Mineral Hardness where diamonds are a 10.  All I know is that in my testing, this glass screen protector did not scratch easily.

The BluBlock technology built-in to this screen protector blocks out 100% of the UV light, as well as 20% of the blue light which gives the user more of a crisp, high definition viewing experience. I’m not sure how that works, exactly, but Armorz explains the reasoning for this technology, as follows:

Why is blocking blue light so important?

When you look through an amber, BluBlock coated lens objects appear to be sharper and clearer. Blue light focuses in front of the retina, which is the focusing screen of your eye, whereas other colors focus close on the retina.

When blue light is being blocked, you eliminate this problem. Objects tend to appear clearer, sharper, and well defined.

When I first opened my Armorz packaging, I immediately noticed the blue tinge to the glass. Not knowing about the BluBlock technology, I was a bit concerned. Even after my screen protector was installed, the glass looks neon blue from an angle, but I’ve actually grown to like it.

Installation was a breeze. I used the included wet and dry napkins to clean and then dry my phone screen before installing the screen protector, and once I lined it up perfectly and placed it on my screen, it adhered itself completely, no need for pushing out air bubbles or fidgeting with it at all.

Using my phone with the Armorz Stealth Extreme Lite is just as easy as using my phone without a screen protector. There is no difference in feel or in touch screen response. And the Armorz Stealth Extreme Lite is perfectly, and I mean PERFECTLY, cut to fit around the home button and speaker on my iPhone 6 Plus.
