As a recent iPhone owner, the one thing that is always around to review are cases for the iPhone. Silk Innovation was kind enough to send out a selection of their new cases for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus for my family to check out. Will they unseat the Moshi Luxe as my favorite iPhone case? Let’s find out!

Silk Innovation iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Cases Round Up!

First up is the Vault Slim Wallet for the iPhone 6. This case worked well on my iPhone and the slot is interesting, but not that exciting. All openings fit well and the case, as a whole, did the job. While it’s a nice enough case, this one isn’t for me so my wife has kindly taken it off my hands. This case is available on Amazon in Black Onyx, Gun-metal Gray, and Pacific Green for $16.24.

What I Like:

  • Slot on back

What Needs Improvement:

  • Available colors

Next is the Folio Wallet Case for the iPhone 6s Plus. This case, like all iPhone 6s Plus cases also works with the iPhone 6 Plus. This case comes with a handy set of card slots. I find it kind of funny that this and many of the other cases that they sent out have card slots on them and the phones all support Apple Pay. With Apple Pay, I don’t have a need to carry cards all the time and I always have a wallet with me, but some might so this case fits the bill nicely. The larger size of the iPhone 6 Plus series makes the ability for this case to prop up nice. This is probably one of the ones that my son did not like, but he’s got it in his stash of cases in case one of his favorites wears out! 🙂 This case is available on Amazon for $14.99.

What I Like:

  • The Stand

What Needs Improvement:

  • Card slots. They just aren’t for me

Of the 6 Plus cases they sent out, the Pure View Ultra Slim seems to be my son’s favorite as I see this one on more than any other of the cases he has. It’s slim and allows you to enjoy the look of the iPhone through it’s back, I like this one as well since it looks a lot like my Moshi iGlaze Luxe. It’s not as durable as the Luxe though. The Pure View Ultra Slim is available on Amazon for $11.99.

What I Like:

  • Protects without hiding our phone

What Needs Improvement:

  • Bumper seemed thin

Next is the Silk Armor Tough Case for the iPhone 6 Plus series. This case is almost as slim as the Pureview, but has the nice metal panels on the back. It also feels tougher. Silk Innovation says it’s military grade but it certainly doesn’t feel that way. The Otter Box Defender is much tougher than this case. However, it’s a nice case and it looks good and unless you are brutal on your phone it should do the job nicely.

The case ships with silver, gray, and gold panels that you can swap out if you’d like. Probably my son’s second favorite of the ones they sent. I like this case because it makes it easy to customize the color any time you want. The Silk Armor Tough Case is available on Amazon for $17.99.

What I Like:

  • Swappable Panels

What Needs Improvement:

  • No Rose Gold option

Silk Innovation has sent out 4 great cases for the iPhone 6 and 6 plus and they are all very nicely priced. For slightly more than an el cheapo case I highly recommend Silk Innovation’s line for those who are budget conscious.
