Belkin sent over their MIXIT Metallic Lightning to USB iPhone Cable for us to check out, and for someone who hates attempting to plug my cable in properly, it’s been a lifesaver of the past few weeks.
The charge cable by Belkin has been my go-to charging cable over the past few weeks due to its durability and overall unique look. Available in six colors, I received the “rose gold” color because to be honest I liked it (judge me), and it stood out compared to the white, grey blacks and gold colors that match the current iPhone colors available on the market. Featuring aluminum tips and a braided cable, the MIXIT cable is not only durable enough to stop from fraying, but it’s MFi-Certified, unlike those cables you’ve been purchasing online for $5.99 that will last you two, maybe three weeks. Currently on sale for $24.99, the cable is available in a 4 feet, or 6 feet. I received the four-foot model which is all I need when I’m on the go.
Being able to have the MIXIT plug into any USB 2.0 port, one thing I thoroughly enjoy is being able to plug it in regardless of how it’s inserted and connect on the fly. I’ve been going iPad Pro and iPhone 7 Plus only for the past month as my daily drivers for everything, so being able to connect and sync both devices is great, something the old cable I used failed to do from time to time. The only thing that didn’t come included with the MIXIT was a power brick, but obviously, you can purchase one from Belkin at an additional cost.
