If you’ve got a tablet or phone that uses USB Type-C, then you’ll be glad to know that the myCharge HubPlus C is out and ready to charge your new LG, Samsung, Huawei, BlackBerry, Pixel, or other devices that take Type-C. But if you have an older device, too, it’s okay; the HubPlus C has both Type-C and microUSB built-in.
The myCharge HubPlus C is a 6700mAh portable charger with the ability to charge up to three devices at once. Best of all, you can plug the HubPlus C directly into the wall when it’s time to recharge.
The aluminum-clad HubPlus C measures 4.1″ long by 2.4′ wide by 0.9″ thick, and it weighs 6.9 ounces. The black plastic surfaces are covered in a soft-touch material, and the battery fits nicely in hand.
On the right side, there are two 2.25″ long cables; one has a USB Type-C charger attached, and the other has a microUSB charger.
On the top, there is a USB charger for a third cable, and you can see the wall charger prongs at rest in their slots.
The bottom and left side are plain.
The wall charger folds out when needed, and it folds neatly away when not needed.
The myCharge HubPlus C has Quick Charge 3.0 which can charge your device up to 4x faster; 6700mAh is enough to fully charge most of today’s higher capacity phones at least two times.
I love that the HubPlus C will start charging my phone the minute it is plugged in; there is no need to push the battery button on the side, but when you do the remaining charge will display in quarter increments. The HubPlus C comes fully charged out of the package, by the way.
The myCharge HubPlus C is a great accessory to keep in your backpack or bag; it’s perfect for all of the new Type-C devices coming out. If you’ve got one of those phones or tablets, then you need this.
