Petcurean Products

If you are super picky about what you feed your dog or cat (as you should be!), then you’ll be interested in all that Petcurean has to offer. I have to admit that I had never heard of the brand before this meeting, but I was impressed that all of their treats were human food grade, and the ladies manning the booth admitted that they had all tried them. I smelled what was in the bag, and guess what? I was tempted. 🙂

Petcurean makes wet and dry foods as well as treats. All are made in Canada, and they are all responsibly produced using simple and ingredients which start with meat first with limited other ingredients. Petcurean also has Limited Ingredient Diet food for pets who have food sensitivities. Check them out!

Earth Animal No-Hide Dog Chews

Earth Animal makes a lot of healthy treats for your pets, but the one that really caught my eye is their No-Hide dog chew. I’ve made the mistake of giving rawhide to my dog, Otis. He ate it quickly, then promptly threw it up. It turns out that rawhide isn’t exactly digestible. Who knew? Well, the No-Hide Dog Chew is a great option for dogs who want a treat they can safely chew and devour without ill effects.

Each one of these No-Hide Dog Chews is made of 100% human-grade ingredients from animals that have been humanely raised animals sourced in the US. The ingredients of this pork chew are as follows: pork, pork gelatin, brown rice flour, organic eggs, olive oil, banana, and pineapple — in other words, there is nothing in it that you or I wouldn’t be willing to eat, unless you’re a vegetarian, of course. The chews come in 4″, 7″, and 11″ lengths; they vary in price from $4.99 for two 4″ chews to $9.99 for two 7″ chews, to $13.99 for a single 11″ chew.

I gave this one to my dog, Otis, and he loved it!

Link AKC GPS Smart Collar

If you want to know where your dog is at all times, you need a Link AKC GPS smart collar. When paired with the smartphone app, you’ll know exactly where your little wanderer has run off to.

Link AKC smart collars are fashionable and light, but if you already have a favorite dog collar, you can still use it by sliding on the part that holds the Link GPS module. You will have to pay for a service plan to use this, and you’ll need to recharge the collar regularly, but if your dog is ever outside without a leash (hunting dogs, for instance), this gives you a good way to keep up with it.

The Link AKC smart collar is usually $149, but they are on sale for $99 right now.

EarLifter Medical Grade Dog Ear Harness

This is one of those products that if you never need it, you wouldn’t care (or know) that it existed. But if you have a dog with floppy ears, then you know how just a little bit of moisture in the ear can cause big problems.
