One thing we can always count on is creative charging accessories from Oneadaptr that make keeping our devices powered-up a cinch. Their latest travel chargers, the Oneadaptr OneWorld PD and OneWorld Duo are made work in over 150 countries. With multiple fully grounded charging solutions built-in, they are the perfect gift for any frequent traveler.

There Oneadaptr OneWorld comes in two versions, the OneWorld PD which has three Type-A USB ports and a Type-C USB port and the OneWorld Duo which has two Type-A USB ports. Both models feature overcurrent protection (they will automatically shut down if abnormal usage is detected), BS8546 compliance, and they are fully grounded and able to handle up to 10A of continuous AC power consumption.

Both the OneWorld PD and the OneWorld Duo measure 2.65″ tall by 2.1″ wide (including the blue buttons on the left side) by 2.7″ deep (at the widest point); the PD weighs 7.1 ounces, and the Duo weighs 6.1 ounces. Both are composed of matte white plastic; they feel solid, substantial, and built to last.

If an overload occurs, you can reset the adapter’s fuse by pressing the Over Current Protector (reset button) on the top of the OneWorld PD or Duo.

On the bottom of the Oneadaptr OneWorld PD, there are three USB Type-A QuickCharge 3.0 ports (max. 12W) and a single USB Type-C port (max. 18W). On the bottom of the Oneadaptr OneWorld Duo, there are two 5V USB Type-A charging ports rated at 2.4A. Both OneWorld chargers support broad input range (100-240V) for international voltage requirements.

There are a couple of ways that you can use the OneWorld PD and OneWorld Duo. If you are in Europe, and you need a universal wall charger for your flat-iron or travel hair dryer, for instance, you can pull the removable universal EU plug off the front of the OneWorld and use that adapter on its own.

Built into the side of both the OneWorld PD and the OneWorld Suo are three sliding levers. Depending on which you slide out, you’ll have access to grounded US, UK, or AU chargers.

If you are in Europe, and you want to take advantage of the over-current protection of the OneWorld charger’s USB ports, you can move the removable EU adapter from the front of the device to the back and commence charging via the USB ports on the bottom of the travel charger.

You’ll give up the universal AC outlet on the front of the travel charger if you are using the OneWorld PD or Duo in the EU, but if you are in the UK, US, or AU, you’ll have up to five ways to charge your devices with the PD and up to three ways to charges your devices with the Duo.

If your Type-C device relies on 18W or less to properly charge (think MacBook/2018 MacBook Air with Retina Display and just about every smartphone or tablet), the Type-C port will be more than enough to charge your device. If your laptop requires 20V or more to charge, the OneWorld PD will not be powerful enough.

Both the Oneadaptr OneWorld PD and the OneWorld Duo are very handy charging solutions that make figuring out what to carry or pack for any trip (anywhere) a cinch. I keep the OneWorld PD in my backpack now, and it gives me a perfectly grounded wall charger that I can use no matter where I happen to be — even if it’s in the US. If you travel a lot, or if you have a favorite person who travels a lot, the Oneadaptr OneWorld PD and Duo are a great solution!
