Like many other HomeKit enabled products, Eve Systems were the first brand to offer them. From smart plugs to outlets and water pressure monitors, Eve is revolutionizing by releasing the Eve Cam, which is the first-ever indoor camera made exclusively for Apple’s HomeKit Secure Video. As you know, HomeKit is one of the more secure methods of monitoring your home, using iCloud to back up all of the data on all of your devices and a lot is the same with the Eve Cam.

All activity that goes on in the room that you place it in, the Eve Cam privately analyzes using on-device intelligence to determine if there’s a person (or even pets) in eyeshot of the camera. When any important activity is detected, you’ll receive a notification on your smartphone letting you know, as well as allowing you to review the clip right from your lock screen. All of the videos are available for tenders directly from the Home app and doesn’t count against your iCloud’s storage limit. Here are a few more highlights about the Eve Cam:

  • The 150° camera and high-def 1080p resolution give you an unmistakably clear view
  • Thanks to infrared night vision, you’ll be able to tell whether you have an intruder in the house, or your kids are raiding the refrigerator
  • Using the integrated microphone and speaker, you can talk to whoever is in your home at any time
  • With the 360° x 180° adjustable, magnetic camera base, you can easily install Eve Cam just about anywhere
