Latest Lenovo ThinkPads Made with Hybrid Workers’ Needs in Mind

If your laptop can’t handle everything that your job is throwing at you when you aren’t actually at the office, you’ll want to take a look at the latest Lenovo ThinkPads made with hybrid workers in mind. The latest generation of ThinkPad X13, X13 Yoga, L13, L13 Yoga, L14, and L15 models have been announced, and they’ll come with features like Dolby Voice, FHD (1080p) cameras, Wi-Fi 6E, 5G sub6, 4G LTE wireless WAN, and battery choices. We bet that among them, you’ll find just what you’ve been looking for!

The third-generation Lenovo ThinkPad X13, X13 Yoga, L13, L13 Yoga, L14, and L15 models all come with Dolby Voice, so you’ll be able to enjoy better conferencing experiences from anywhere. Leveraging spatial audio technology, so voices are separated, Dolby Voice helps to provide a more natural meeting when using compatible services.

With Dolby Voice, you’ll also get better speaker and microphone performance because of features like dynamic leveling — which automatically adjusts for more soft spoken voices or voices that are a bit further away, and noise suppression — which reduces obnoxious background noises and echos on every meeting platform.

These laptops also come with optional FHD IR cameras with camera shutters for privacy; with them, you’ll get improved video conferencing quality and be able to add the convenience of Windows Hello login.

All of these ThinkPads include the option to upgrade to Wi-Fi 6E and 4G LTE, and the ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 offers an optional 5G sub6 for the fastest possible connections with buffer-free conferencing enabling efficient cloud collaboration.

Best of all, these new ThinkPad models reinforce Lenovo’s commitment to reduce its impact on the environment; they include Post-Consumer Content (PCC) recycled plastic materials in their speaker enclosures, battery brackets, and AC adaptors. These ThinkPads also have 90% recycled and/or sustainable packaging, and they are ENERGY STAR certified and EPEAT registered for meeting energy-saving and environmental standards.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga and the X13 Gen 3 have 13.3″ narrow bezel displays (400 nits) with user-facing speakers so you’ll get an enhanced Dolby Audio Speaker System with Dolby Voice.  These laptops have a Dolby Vision low-power display option with Low Blue Light technology. Both models are available with up to to 32GB RAM and up to a to 2TB PCIe SSD for storage. Best of all, they’ll weigh in at just 2.62 pounds.

The ThinkPad X13 comes with up to an Intel vPro with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor or up to an AMD Ryzen PRO 6000 series processor.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 is available with a choice of 41Wh and 54.7Wh battery options; if you choose the latter, you’ll get up to 40% additional battery life than the smaller battery.

The ThinkPad X13 Gen 3i and the ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 AMD will also be available in June; starting at $1179 for the Intel version and $1119 for the AMD.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga comes with up to an Intel vPro with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor; it has a 57Whr battery which will keep it going for 13.6 hours.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 3 will be available in June, starting at $1369.

Lenovo ThinkPad L14 and L15 Gen 3

The Lenovo ThinkPad L14 and L15 Gen 3 have re-designed bodies available in a new Thunder Black color; they have narrower bezels with increased screen-to-body ratios, so you’ll get a thinner and lighter devices. You can get these laptops with a 42Whr, 57Whr, or 63Whr battery; this gives you the ability to balance your need for portability and a lighter weight with also getting the best battery life.

You can get both of these laptops with up to 64GB RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe SSD for storage; you can get yours with up to Intel Iris Xe graphics or with integrated AMD Radeon graphics.

As you might have guessed from the name, the ThinkPad L14 has a 14″ display (400 nits); its weight starts at 3.06 pounds.

The Lenovo ThinkPad L15 has a 15.6″ display (up to 300 nits); its weight starts at 3.87 pounds.

The Lenovo ThinkPad L14 Gen 3 AMD and ThinkPad L15 Gen 3 AMD will be available in April, both starting at $869; the ThinkPad L14 Gen 3 i and the ThinkPad L15 Gen 3 i will be available in May, both starting at $929.

ThinkPad L13 Yoga and L13 Gen 3

The Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga and L13 Gen 3 are available in Thunder Black or a new Storm Grey color. They’ve been re-designed to have 13.3″ (500 nits) dislays with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which is slightly taller than the more typical 16:9 aspect ratio, so it’s fantastic for binging your favorite series but also for work.

If you’re working on anything sensitive or just prefer to keep people out of your business, you might want to consider the optional PrivacyGuard, which provides improved screen security in public environments.

You can load either one of these ThinkPads with up to 32GB RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe SSD of storage; there’s also the option of up to Intel Iris Xe graphics or integrated AMD Radeon graphics, and they have a 46Whr battery.

The Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 3 i and the ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 3 AMD will be available in May, starting at $1039 for the Intel version and $979 for the AMD.
