As soon as I assembled the Ausom Leopard, I could tell it was built to last, with a strong aluminum alloy frame that folds for storage or travel, swingarm suspension to handle rough terrain, adjustable handlebar height, e-brake and disc brakes, and 10″ all-terrain tires.

It’s also a really attractive scooter, with a striking yellow accent on the frame, vibrant LED display, and lighting. The lighting is especially nice because it offers additional safety, including side and rear lighting and turn signals. With a weight of 69.6 lbs, it’s not exactly a lightweight scooter one might take on a train or bus.

The Ausom Leopard is powered by a robust brushless electric motor that provides smooth acceleration and efficient power delivery. With a peak power output of 1000 W and a max advertised speed of 34 miles per hour, this scooter effortlessly tackles inclines, offroading, and urban terrains.

I hit 30 mph in my testing, which was plenty fast; honestly, I got a bit nervous.

Equipped with a high-capacity 48V 20.8 Ah lithium-ion battery, the Ausom Leopard offers an impressive 52 miles of travel on a single charge. This means you can confidently commute to work, run errands, or explore the city or trails without worrying about running out of juice.

The Leopard boasts a top speed of 34 mph, ensuring you can keep up with the traffic flow and reach your destination swiftly. This all depends on your weight, however. The Leopard is rated to accommodate riders up to 265 pounds.

The scooter’s 10-inch pneumatic tires are designed to absorb shocks and vibrations, providing a smooth and comfortable ride even on uneven surfaces. This feature is particularly noteworthy for maintaining stability and enhancing overall safety. The scooter even has a small pump to ensure your tires are always ready to ride.

The scooter’s intuitive LED display offers real-time information about your speed, battery life, and riding mode, allowing you to stay informed and in control at all times. I always felt like I was in control with all of the information the bright LED display provided.

Safety is paramount, and the Ausom Leopard delivers with its integrated front and rear LED lights. These lights enhance your visibility during night rides and contribute to the scooter’s modern aesthetic.

The on/off controls on the handlebar are a nice touch, as well as including left/right buttons for turn signals. I tended to leave the lights on during every ride, day or night, for safety. There’s also a loud horn, which adds more safety to your ride.

With a sturdy build, a weight capacity of 265 pounds, and a rider height of 4′-8″ to 6′-7″, the Ausom Leopard accommodates a wide range of riders, ensuring a comfortable experience for users of varying sizes. Kids are not advised to ride this scooter as it’s made for adults.

During my time with the Ausom Leopard Electric Scooter, I was genuinely impressed by its seamless blend of performance and style. The acceleration was responsive, and the scooter’s stability, even at higher speeds, instilled a sense of confidence in my rides.

The battery life exceeded my expectations, allowing me to complete several trips before needing a recharge. I appreciated the attention to detail in the LED display and lighting system, which enhanced safety and aesthetics.

Furthermore, the scooter’s foldable design is nice for storage, though I didn’t try it on my daily commute due to its weight. And let’s not forget the sleek design – the Ausom Leopard turned heads wherever I went, receiving compliments from pedestrians around the neighborhood.

A hill in my neighborhood that the Leopard handled with ease.

If I had to nitpick any minor issues, it would be that the location of the mode switch button is difficult to hit in its current location under the throttle lever. It’s fine once you get used to it, but it’s not ideal. Also, the thumb throttle isn’t super easy to keep steady, but again, it gets easier as you get used to it.

The Ausom Leopard Electric Scooter is an exceptional choice for anyone seeking a reliable, stylish, and eco-friendly mode of urban transportation and off-road riding. Its impressive technical specifications, coupled with a comfortable ride experience, make it a standout in the electric scooter market.

Whether you’re looking for a trail ride or simply looking to embrace sustainable mobility, the Ausom Leopard delivers in every aspect.
