Each eufyCam E330 camera is powered by a stable, plug-in power cord, ensuring you won’t have to worry about powering them with rechargeable batteries or solar panels. The power cables are 16.4′ long so that you can reach the nearest outlet.

The cameras’ IP67 weatherproof rating ensures durability against various weather conditions, making the EufyCam E330 a robust choice for outdoor use, and the included mounting hardware provides a lot of flexibility.

The cameras connect wirelessly to eufy’s HomeBase 3, offering enhanced AI capabilities and expandable video storage. The HomeBase 3 also allows you to access 24/7 Cross-Camera tracking using the AI BionicMind; the cameras will work together to track the same person(s) across your property.

Once mounted, you’ll get similar motion detection with the eufyCam E330 cameras as you’ll get with eufy’s other products, so you can choose to get alerted when the camera sees a person, pet, vehicle, etc.

Eufy includes cable managers, so during the installation of the cameras, I could nicely hide the power cables into my roofline so that they’re not too noticeable.

The eufyCam E330 cameras’ wireless connectivity works for up to 82′ between the cameras and the HomeBase 3 for a total coverage area of 5000′.

One thing I noticed is that the motion sensing on these cameras is extremely sensitive. As soon as a leaf moved a little with the wind, I’d get an alert, so I had to customize my alerts so we didn’t get notified as often.

Even so, the eufy Security app allows for a ton of customization regarding motion detection sensitivity and adds AI abilities like recognizing human faces, pet detection, etc. Integration with voice assistants like Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit enhances the user experience by allowing convenient control through voice commands.

Despite its numerous strengths, the system does have some limitations. While the 138º field of view is generally sufficient for most situations, it might not cover larger outdoor areas as comprehensively as some competitors. And although we didn’t have any connection issues, I’d love to see a 5 GHz WiFi connectivity option.

The biggest downside, however, is the size of the power plug. It’s so large that it covers both outlets, which is a concern when dealing with exterior, weatherproof outlet covers.

Exterior outlets are pretty few and far between, so the fact that the plug covers both outlets in the exterior weatherproof cover is disappointing. I’d love to see the plug reduced in size in future versions so that you can allow other devices to share these outlets.

After testing for a few weeks, the eufyCam E330 4-Cam Kit has proven a reliable and user-friendly security solution. The setup process was straightforward, and the video quality surpassed expectations. The 4K resolution provides a level of clarity that instills confidence in monitoring properties effectively.
