The Ohsnap Wallet 2 Is a Wallet Made to Fit Your Life and Style

You probably know Ohsnap as the folks behind the incredibly thin Snap Grip, or, if you like mobile gaming, you may be familiar with their MCON magnetic gaming controllers. When they see the back of a phone, they see opportunity, and their latest way to maximize that real estate is their new modular Wallet 2, launching on Kickstarter today!

We’re all familiar with the “usual” MagSafe wallet setup. Some sort of pouch or small snap-on compartment that holds 2-3 cards. And if you’re being really spicy, maybe a money clip. Ohsnap’s take is to tackle the idea that everyone’s needs and styles are unique. Why sell an off-the-shelf wallet when you can let people build their ideal setup with a little of column a, a little of column b, and a dash of column c!

The Osnap Wallet 2 can be customized in almost every way. You choose from a C3, C5, or C7 core, which holds 3, 5, or 7 cards respectively. All the cores are compatible with all the covers, so it’s really a matter of how many cards you’re toting.

From there, you can decide on your covers and any other accessories. There’s a base minimal cover, a MagSafe cover to snap the wallet onto your phone, and the MagStack cover that lets you connect magnetic devices to both sides of the wallet, allowing you to connect the phone+wallet combo to mounts or slap a Snap Grip on too.

Finally, the Ohsnap Wallet 2 uses a spring-loaded lever that fans out the cards, making it easy to pull out the card you need with one hand. The aluminum body provides RFID protection, while the lever mechanism also protects your cards from being pulled out by gravity.

You can choose from multiple covers, from plain anodized aluminum in black and silver to carbon fiber and wood burl. You can also mix it up with an elastic band or money clip for extra storage needs. Best of all, when you order the OhSnap Wallet 2, you can bundle everything you want into one set, ranging from $59.99 to $89.99, or customize your setup by ordering each part individually. Cores will retail for $14.99, while covers will range from $24.99 to $39.99.

Stick with one configuration, or change your Ohsnap Wallet 2 up as often as you change your socks (whether this is a high or low number is one we don’t need you to share). Check out the Ohsnap Wallet 2 Kickstarter campaign page for early bird deals!
