Waterfield Designs’ Rough Rider Messenger Bag: First Look

We always love it when Waterfield Designs, one of our favorite bag companies, delivers something new. The Rough Rider Messenger Bag is just that. Made form thick gorgeous leather it is an instant classic. We’ve got a first look at it on camera, and we bet you’ll be as impressed with it as we are.

Transporter Transports Your Files Anywhere You Are

I’m a huge fan of Dropbox and make good use of my 150GB of cloud storage. Still, the fact that I have only 150 GB, have to pay for it, AND my files are on someone else’s server is a bit of a bummer. Connected Data’s Transporter may be the alternative; better still, it just got some great new features.

Element Case Soft-Tec Wallet for Apple iPhone 5C Review

The Element Case Soft-Tec Wallet for Apple iPhone 5C is a great way to carry and protect your iPhone 5C and ditch the wallet. Simple in its design, the case is as elegant as it is functional. It adds minimal bulk to the phone and lets the color shine through at the top. Plus, it looks great.

Amazon Prime Goes to $99

We knew it was coming but it is now official — the annual fee for Amazon Prime is rising to $99. For me it is a no-brainer, the service is awesome. The benefits like Prime Video are nice, and the $99 still makes Amazon Prime a bargain. How about you? Does the increase make you think twice about Prime?

Wrap Your iPad in Leather with the Twelve South SurfacePad

The other day we mentioned a brand-new product from our friends at TwelveSouth — the TwelveSouth SurfacePad for iPad mini — which is a “luxury leather cover” that is designed to offer minimalist protection and good looks for the small Apple tablet. My review sample came the other day, and I have a hands on video of it in action.

UNU AERO Series Wireless Charging Battery Case for iPhone 5S

We’ve previously looked at iPhone 5S battery cases. We’ve also reviewed cordless charging solutions for the iPhone 5S. I do not, however, recall reviewing something like the UNU AERO Wireless Charging Battery Case and Mat for the iPhone 5S. It’s both a battery case and a cordless charging solution for under $100, and it has impressed me … a lot.

Seagate Backup Plus Fast Portable Drive Lets You Take 4TB On the Go

I love my 15″ MacBook Pro with Retina display. Judie loves her 15″ MacBook Pro with Retina display, too. We both hate the fact that the drive capacity is just 500GB. It is a constant frustration. Seagate’s new 4TB Backup Plus Fast Portable Drive is an amazing way to take 4TB with you; I wish I got this years ago.

Create Your Own Watch Thanks to Modify Watches

Imagine if you could pick from one of more than thirty different watch band colors and then design your own watch face. That’s what the Mod-To-Order project on Kickstarter is all about. Modify Watches is looking for $50,000 to make it happen. Having received some early samples of the watch, I sure hope it is successful. Here’s a closer look.

Element Case Prisma for iPhone 5C

As users of the iPhone 5S, Judie and I focused our time with Element Case last January on their offerings for our (current) phone of choice. They do, however, have a growing list of cases for other devices. Among them is the Prisma for iPhone 5C. The inexpensive case enhances your audio as it protects the phone. Here’s our look.

We posted news about the new harman kardon Onyx Studio Bluetooth wireless speaker last week. The Onyx Studio is available exclusively through Sprint for just under $400. It is an impressive speaker, and my first few days with it have already made me a fan. We’ll have a detailed review soon, but here is a first look video.

Twelve South SurfacePad for iPad mini Is Minimal and Gorgeous

I love a minimalist case for my small, thin iPad mini, and that is exactly what the new Twelve South SurfacePad for iPad mini offers. Well, actually it does more, since the SurfacePad not only protects the tablet, but it also doubles as a stand. It also look great in three different colors for $69.99. Get yours.

Can You Say “Downward Dog”? The Hotdog Yogatote Can

Hotdog Yoga is a spinoff from our friends at Skooba Design, and they have turned to Kickstarter to help fund their latest project. The Yogatote is “designed to be more practical and versatile than any standard mat bag”. A full-featured yoga bag with a built-in mat carrier, the bag offers tons of organization without looking like it.

We’re huge fans of Harman Kardon’s audio offerings. From headphones to speakers we’ve been impressed with both the style and sound they offer. Now Harman Kardon and Sprint are joining forces to help Spring break into the premium audio scene. The Onyx Studio not only looks amazing but it promises fantastic sound and a great feature-set.

Lifeproof Nuud for iPhone 5S Versus Lifeproof Fre for iPhone 5S

The other day someone was asking about the differences between the Lifeproof Nuud for iPhone 5S (see it here) and the Lifeproof Fre for the iPhone 5S (reviewed here). The Lifeproof Nuud is $10 more than the Fre but that’s not the only difference. I pulled out both of our review samples and took a look at them side-by-side.
