Spigen SGP Saturn

The new Spigen SGP Saturn case for iPhone 5 is a slim, minimalist case for those of us who love our iPhone 5’s and want to protect them without adding significant weight or bulk. The case is primarily polycarbonate. In that regard it looks much like the company’s Ultra Thin Air. (Read our review.) The Spigen SGP Saturn differs in that it has a real aluminum back. That addition makes a huge difference in te look and feel of the case. What is amazing to me is that the case is under $20 but has a quality look and feel that won’t add bulk or weight to the iPhone 5. Honestly, this case is as close as you can get to having your iPhone 5 in a case but not having it look or feel like you do.

Spigen SGP Saturn

As noted, the back of the Spigen SGP Saturn case is real aluminum. The company notes, it “gleams in the light with its metallic finish and diamond cutting design”. Yes, the addition of an aluminum back to the company’s Ultra Thin Air makes the Spigen SGP Saturn a classy case that hugs your iPhone 5 and gives “just enough” protection. Here’s a look at the case on video.

Yes, the Spigen SGP Saturn let’s me protect my iPhone 5 without adding too much bulk to it. The case protects the vulnerable sides of the latest iPhone while the metal back adds to both the look and feel. And the company even includes three of their Jelly bean Home Button covers. (I love those.) Best of all, the Spigen SGP Saturn is under $20. You can get yours here.

MSRP: $19.99

What I Like: Thin; Light; Looks and feels great; Offers good scratch protection without adding to the weight or bulk of the iPhone 5
