Just announced at CES 2018 are four new models of the JBL Endurance, the company’s line of sport earphones for active lifestyles.
JBL’s Endurance line includes the Endurance RUN, SPRINT, JUMP, and DIVE, all things I like to do, but all designed with a unique set of features that vary according to the activity.
The SPRINT, JUMP, and DIVE MODELS all come with waterproof functionality that allows you to take them in the rain, in the cold, and most importantly, in the gym. After that intense workout, you can run them under your sink and rinse them clean which is a nice touch. With a Twistlock Technology and FlexSoft Comfort Fit silicone, you won’t have to worry about readjusting your headphones multiple times.
While the Endurance model can work for many activities, they don’t skip features like volume control which makes it easier to answer that phone call or turn up the volume on that power track. All without overly complicated settings and buttons.
- JBL Endurance RUN is a wired earphone with an IPX5 sweatproof rating and a tangle-free cord with remote and microphone so users can take calls and listen to music while hiking or on a jog through the neighborhood. Its FlipHook™ design provides flexibility to wear both in-ear and behind-the-ear.
- JBL Endurance SPRINT cuts the cords with a wireless design and boasts an IPX7 waterproof rating with MagHook™ magnetic earbuds for easy storage and convenience, so users can hit their playlists when their sneakers touch the track or the field.
- JBL Endurance JUMP takes security and convenience to the next level, adding a durable neckband for secure fit and PowerHook™ buds that turn on and instantly connect when users wear them and turn off when users take them off to ensure athletes can focus on every push-up, pull-up or squat.
- JBL Endurance DIVE includes the same great features as JUMP, but are specifically designed for places where a smartphone can’t go. Including 1GB of onboard MP3 music storage for up to 200 music tracks, users can enjoy their favorite music while swimming or catching waves on a surfboard.
Varying in price, the JBL Endurance series start at $19.99 and will be available in five different colors for each model when they go on sale in the spring.
