Ring Battery Doorbell Provides Enhanced Head-to-Toe Video, Longer Battery Life, and Easy DIY Installation for Under $100

Ring has just introduced its latest smart home product, the Ring Battery Doorbell, which is a step up from their popular Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Gen). This new model boasts a battery life of up to 23% longer, along with many other upgraded features designed to enhance home security with ease.

The Ring Battery Doorbell offers Head-to-Toe video capability; for the first time in an entry-level model, a 150º by 150° field of view captures everything from a visitor’s head to their toes. The Head-to-Toe video offers a view that’s 66% taller than what was available in the previous generation, ensuring nothing goes unnoticed so you can see a full picture of anyone at your door. This new perspective makes monitoring deliveries and keeping an eye on unexpected guests easier.

The all-new push-pin mount design has also simplified installation. This feature makes setting up the doorbell a breeze—just push it onto the wall mount to secure it. When recharging the battery, the doorbell can be easily removed using a specially designed push-pin tool. This DIY-friendly approach ensures you can maintain your doorbell without any fuss.

Of course, the Battery Doorbell includes all of Ring’s signature features that customers have come to rely on. Motion detection with customizable zones allows you to tailor your alerts, ensuring you only get notified about the things that matter.

The Live View feature lets you check in on your home at any time, and with Two-Way Talk, you can communicate with visitors right from your phone or other connected devices.

For those who opt for a Ring Protect subscription, additional benefits like Smart Alerts and Rich Notifications make it even easier to stay informed about what’s happening outside their door. Subscribers can also save footage to the cloud for up to 180 days, ensuring they never miss a moment.

For added convenience, the Battery Doorbell is compatible with Alexa-enabled devices, allowing users to see and talk to visitors using voice commands.

The Ring Battery Doorbell has customizable privacy settings and privacy zones, giving you control over what areas are monitored. Ring also offers features, including two-step verification and video end-to-end encryption, ensuring your data remains secure.

The Ring Battery Doorbell is now available for pre-order on the manufacturer’s site and Amazon for $99.99. Shipments will start on September 4, 2024.
