The smartphone itself sports an aluminum back cover that will not only sport a diamond cut aluminum edge, but will be available in four color choices. Using the Android 6.0 operating system, the REI (which means beautiful, elegant, and wise), is the latest edition of smartphones from the brand. And with features like dual 13 megapixel PDAF rear cameras and an 8 megapixel front camera, the 5.2”-inch smartphone comes complete with a 1080 X 1920 Full HD display.

“Consumer demand for well-designed and high-functioning smartphones that also embrace affordability and flexibility is a growing trend all over the world,” said Ian Chapman-Banks, Global President for FREETEL. “With the addition of REI, we are excited to be one of the brands shaking up the mobile landscape with lower-priced products that deliver exceptional craftsmanship and features, as well as giving consumers the freedom of carrier choice with unlocked devices.”

Soon to be available next quarter, the REI will also feature a Octa core CPU and a 2,800mAh battery life.
