The Lowdown
Overall, the Nimble SHAREPOWER Portable Charger is a solid charger to keep in a purse or backpack. It won’t power a laptop or anything that requires much higher wattage, but it’s still nice to have as a phone backup. The 10,000 mAh is a bit on the low end of the spectrum for chargers that I like to carry around with me, but it will still keep your phone charged until you get home.
Overall
Pros
- Well-designed portable charger with built-in USB-C ports
- 20W charging quickly gives you a charge without having to stay tethered for a long time
- Shareable charging is really nice when you’re out with family and friends
Cons
- Make the magnetic attachment between pieces a bit stronger
- Make another version with a higher mAh option
I’m intrigued by unique electronics that I have never seen before. The Nimble SHAREPOWER Portable Charger definitely falls into that camp. I think we all have used portable chargers by now, but the SHAREPOWER Portable Charger consists of two separate and fully functional smaller chargers that can be used together or separated to charge devices. Read on to see how it has held up!

What Is It?
The Nimble SHAREPOWER Portable Charger is a 10,000 mAh compact power bank that magnetically splits into two independent 5,000 mAh chargers. When separated, each SHAREPOWER module is its own 20W USB-C battery. The primary module has an LCD power display that shows the remaining charge percentage and a foldaway USB-C connector that tucks into the device body.
The secondary module has an integrated lanyard-style USB-C cable and its own LED status indicator. Both modules include an extra USB-C port, supporting simultaneous charging up to four devices.

What’s Included?
- In the Box:
- 2 Stackable 5,000 mAh Batteries
- 0.75 m (2.46 ft) USB-C to USB-C Cable
- Quick Start Guide
- 2-Year Warranty

Design and Features
While available in four colors, the Nimble SHAREPOWER Portable Charger version I received is standard white. It also comes in pink, black, and light blue. Aesthetically speaking, it fits nicely in hand, and the built-in charging cable can also act as a lanyard, but I wouldn’t recommend putting much force on it. Charging cables, especially built-in ones like this, are pretty easy to damage.

The two chargers are held together magnetically, and the pieces nest together very well. The inside of the charger where the pieces nest together also has 6 pins on each side where the devices share power and work together when charging as a whole.

The Nimble SHAREPOWER Portable Charger does this by designing everything cohesively together and making good use of its space. The foldaway charger pops up and is accessible for charging both phones and tablets, with enough space to connect devices, even with cases.

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Nimble SHAREPOWER Portable Charger is a solid charger to keep in a purse or backpack. It won’t power a laptop or anything that requires much higher wattage, but it’s still nice to have as a phone backup. The 10,000 mAh is a bit on the low end of the spectrum for chargers that I like to carry around with me, but it will still keep your phone charged until you get home.
The magnetic attachment between the two pieces could be stronger because it pops apart if you’re up and about moving. The sharing option is also really nice, especially if you have kids or are out with friends. You can share a charger without playing musical chairs with whoever has the lowest charge.
The Nimble SHAREPOWER Portable Charger retails for $79.95; it is available directly from the manufacturer and other retailers, including Amazon.

What I Like: Well-designed portable charger with built-in USB-C ports; 20W charging quickly gives you a charge without having to stay tethered for a long time; Shareable charging is really nice when you’re out with family and friends
What Needs Improvement: Make the magnetic attachment between pieces a bit stronger; Make another version with a higher mAh option
I love this unique idea! Hubby and I are always “fighting” over a charger. This would solve this.
