We recently looked at the Scosche MagicMount Pro Charge and the Speck Presidio Mount Case designed to take advantage of its magnetic wireless charging. The Scosche BoomBottle MM is part of the same line. It is a Bluetooth waterproof speaker with magnets to hold an iPhone in a Speck Presidio Mount or attached steel plates in place; it’s awesome.
I reviewed Speck’s Presidio case for the iPhone 7 last year. Slimmer AND more protective, it replaced their CandyShell line. I was impressed. (Read my review.) I’m now using a Presidio case with my iPhone X, but it isn’t just any Presidio case. No, this is the Speck Presidio Mount and it works with Scosche’s MagicMount line. I love it!
As I have mentioned previously, on of the features, I like best about the iPhone X is its ability to charge wirelessly with Qi-enabled wireless chargers. The Scosche MagicMount Pro Charge takes that awesome feature to a new level with wireless, cradleless charging. And while you don’t need it, you’ll also want to pick up a Speck Presidio Mount case.
Summer is all about spending time by the pool, hanging out on the back deck, travel, and camping. The TYLT Block Party gives you a way to stay charged while outdoors while enjoying your favorite music. The Block Party is a combo portable Bluetooth speaker and 20,000mAh battery that can charge up to four devices at the same time.
We’ve been covering RHA headphones for some time and have always been impressed. From the first pair we reviewed, the company has shown it is serious about producing headphones with great sound and impressive quality. The $69.95 MA390 Wireless is their latest offering. The neckband style headphones are affordable and will surely impress even the most discerning consumer.
Last year, I reviewed the BlackBerry KEYone, and I found it to be an excellent update to the BlackBerry line. A year has passed, and the BlackBerry KEY2 is now available. Should you get one?
I’ve enjoyed reviewing “true wireless headphones” that completely cut the cord. Unfortunately, most have some issues. For example, the Rowkin Bit Charge earphones sound great but their 2-3 hour battery life is disappointing, and they can lose their stereo connection. I was curious if the Rowkin Surge Charge fixed these issue and I’m happy to report they do!
The Novoo AC Power Bank would be a fantastic sidekick for any technology-obsessed traveler who needs juice at all times. With its multiple power output options and huge battery capacity, the Novoo power bank makes it easy to keep all of your devices charged while on the go.
I’ll start this review by saying that the Huawei P20 isn’t going to be as simple to buy as most other current phones in the United States, and that’s a shame. You can’t just walk into AT&T or Verizon and get one with an easy payment plan, and let’s be real, that’s going to turn the typical cellphone buyer off.
I’ve made no secret of the fact that the wireless charging on the iPhone X is one of my favorite features of Apple’s current flagship phone. I love having wireless chargers around the house, at my office, and now — thanks to the myCharge UnPlugged 10K — I can have 10,000mAh of wireless charging goodness on the go.
Remember when rose gold was all the rage? We’re trying to forget that time too. Fortunately, Samsung has a new gold color for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ that we can handle – and it’s a “Sunrise Gold”.
Not long ago I reviewed Nomad’s Battery Cable. I loved it. The Battery Cable combines Nomad’s amazing USB to Lightning cable with a battery. That way, your gear bag not only has a charging cable but one that doubles as an external battery. Now, with phones becoming bigger than ever, Nomad has issued a new Battery Cable with extra juice.
If you’ve been lusting after the Galaxy S9 / S9+ but the price is making you weary, Samsung has some new, more affordable alternatives for you to choose from in the form of the Galaxy J3 and J7.
If you prefer the feel of physical keys under your thumbs when you’re tapping out emails or posting on Instagram, you’re going to love the BlackBerry KEY2. Sleeker and with dual-lens optics, the BlackBerry KEY2 is a welcome update to last year’s KEYone.

Even the latest phones don’t usually have enough battery to go through the entire day if you are a heavy phone user like myself. Even if you aren’t a heavy user, you likely still carry a battery and cable just in case you need to top off. Does the Thinium Recharge [+]2.0 fit the bill of convenience? Let’s find out.
It’s easy to forget as our gadgets go wireless that sometimes wired has a place. I haven’t reached for wired headphones in a long time, and using the Brainwavz B200 made me realize I’ve been seriously missing out!
If the LG G7 ThinQ got you all excited when it was announced, but the “Verizon-only” made the AT&T customer in you sad, you’ll be glad to know that you’ll soon be able to get your hands on something similar. Of course, similar does not equal same, but the AT&T LG V35 ThinQ is very close.
With pools opening this weekend for Memorial Day, if you are looking for a great Bluetooth speaker to take with you poolside, to the beach, or even near the grill, you should check out the Blitzwolf BW-AS1 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker.
I like listening to music at night as I try to fall asleep. I hate the fact that our neighbors’ kitchen light often shines right into our bedroom. Thanks to the 1 Voice Sleep Headphones Eye Mask, I can kill two burdensome nighttime birds with one stone. Soft material blocks light while speakers rock the night.
3 Legged Thing offers a range of tripods. Most are designed for professionals but their Iggy Mini Tripod, GoPro Adapter, and Phone Cradle offer “portable, versatile and multi-functional” phone stability for everyone looking to take great pictures with their iPhone or GoPro.
Wireless earbuds have finally come into their own. You can now buy high-end earphones with great sound, excellent battery life, and ANC. You can also find inexpensive earbuds that sound quite good! (IFROGZ has some great offerings!) To keep them charged, IFROGZ has released the Cocoon Earbud Recharging Case. At under $30 it’s an interesting idea for a wireless world.
