Finding a spot to plug my USB cables into is a never-ending game that gets played out every day; there are simply more cables than I have ports for, and every new generation laptop seems to come with fewer (if any at all). If you’re in the same boat, the Just Mobile AluCharge can help.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the chance to check out the LeEco Le Pro3, an affordable smartphone with premium specs. Can the Android device compete with the competition? And more importantly, is it worth your money? Let’s dive in.
Grovemade, a high-quality shop out of Portland, Oregon makes some killer wood products ranging from wood speakers to planters, to pen cups. Whether you’re filming home movies, video blogs, concerts, or sports events, the one thing those videos will have in common (if you’re doing it with your iPhone) is that your arm will get tired and they’ll be shaky. For the steadiest videos, you’ll need a gimbal; look to the FeiyuTech SPG PLUS 3-Axis Gimbal if you need stability with options.
It’s hilarious to think that 10 years ago, the display on most people’s mobile phones were barely larger than a postage stamp, and certainly weren’t touch-enabled. Fast forward 10 years, and the efforts of Apple and Samsung have made button-less touchscreen devices popular, and larger than most would have ever though practical.
One of my favorite iPhone cases for my iPhone 6 Plus was without a doubt Ztylus’ Metal Series Camera Kit. Judie reviewed it last year and loved it. Well, the completely redesigned iPhone 7 and 7 Plus Ztylus Revolver Lens Kit models are out from the innovative case maker, and we got a chance to check them out!
“Hey, wanna see a vacation picture?” he said, just as the iPhone he was handing to her slipped from his hands and smashed into the floor. Let’s face it, having pictures on electronic devices is great but it will never fully replace physical photographic prints. The SereneLife PicKit20 lets you print from your smartphone wirelessly. And it really works!
If you are looking for a great all in one whole-home audio system that not only gives that gives a pleasant listening experience that doesn’t just need heightened volumes to sound good, you should truly check out the Bluesound PULSE 2 Speaker.
At CES 2016, Judie and I had a chance to check out the Plantronics BackBeat FIT. We were impressed and said so in our review last February. (Read the review.) Fast forward a year, and the BackBeat FIT is still going strong. A few things have changed, so we thought we would take a second look.
We’ve seen and reviewed a goodly number of external batteries; many are increasingly fancy and complex. The Scosche Rockstar GoBat 10K Portable Battery falls on the simpler side of things… So long as you ignore that very obvious branding. And if you can get past the branding, or you like it, then you may find this a good option.
I travel out of the country a minimum of three times per year, and in the past, I have had to find other options than AT&T (my carrier) because using their international plan just didn’t make financial sense. The new AT&T International Day Pass changes all of that.

As a guitar player, I’ve been aware of the quality of Marshall products for most of my life. The fact that they are not just a guitar amp company, but they also make speakers and headphones is great. I recently received the $199 Marshall Mid Bluetooth headphones to review. The styling is cool as heck, but what about the sound?
For a time, it seemed as if every external battery was alike; they all had some sort of housing, a charging port to power up the battery and one or two ports into which a device cable could be plugged.
The other day we took a look at Nomad’s impressive approach to sync/charge cables. I love the Universal Cable I reviewed and am ordering a few more. Nomad has also re-envisioned what I’ll refer to as the “short throw portable charging cable.” Many companies offer short cables but none come close to the awesomeness of the Nomad Carabiner.
ZTE has started off the week by announcing their spec for the ZTE Hawkeye, a mid-range smartphone device available through a campaign on Kickstarter.
Charging cables are a simple fact of modern life. And while inexpensive cables abound- after all, pretty much every mobile device and accessory includes one- the right cable can make a huge difference. Nomad offers three different cables in their Ultra Rugged Cable Series, and one of them stands out as the only cable you will ever need.

Scandinavian furniture has clean lines and, too often, appear to sacrifice comfort in favor of minimalism and style. Sit in such furniture and… you will be pleasantly surprised. The Libratone Q Adapt On-Ear headphones reflect this same Scandinavian design language. The have clean lines and, like the furniture, appear to sacrifice comfort in favor of minimalism.
V-MODA has consistently created some of my favorite headphones. That includes their over-the-ear, their on-the-ear and their in-the-ear models. It’s no small feat to succeed at all three approaches to headphones and yet V-MODA has done just that. It is no surprise then that I was excited to check out their Forza in-ear headphones. Do the extend V-MODA’s winning record?
