Suddenly all the dads in my life are going Apple. My father-in-law loves his iPad and my dad is using a new 21″ iMac and is taking my iPhone 3GS. (Well that is… if I can ever order the iPhone 4…)
If dad has an iPad you might want to get him Case-mate’s iPad cases.
The Walkabout has an MSRP of $79.99. It is “Made of high-end tan leather, any dad will be happy to tote his iPad around in this case.”
The Express has an MSRP of $34.99. It is “created out of a black ballistic nylon material, this splash-resistant folio is the perfect basic for a minimalistic mindset.”
Or there is the $49.99 Hybrid Tough. As Case-Mate explains, “The Hybrid Tough case for the iPad uses the protective power of dual layers. A form-fitting silicone skin surrounds the iPad completely, absorbing each impact or hard knock. Wrapped around the skin is an ABS plastic shell for complete security, adding another level of protection – and making for a firm grip.”
It can be ordered here and will be available in the next two weeks.
If your dad has an iPhone 3G or 3GS and uses it a lot you might want to get him one of these…
For $49.99 Case-mate’s Fuel Lite adds up to 2 hours of talk time and weighs less than 1.84 oz.
According to the company,
This slim case does more than just protect your iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS, it has an embedded battery to add an extra 2 hours of juice to your phone. So, after a long day, Dad’s phone won’t be out of juice when he needs to call home to say good night to the kids. It comes in black, blue, purple and gun metal grey.
Finally, there is the Case-mate ID Case. For $29.99 it is available for the BlackBerry Curve, BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Tour, Google Nexus One and iPhone.
Available in a number of different colors, the handy ID pocket on the back stores a driver’s license and a credit card or similar such items.
