How amazing would it be to be able to create play-lists from any songs on your iPhone without syncing or using iTunes or a computer? I have found a way to do just that! iPlaylist Creator enables iPhone users to create and listen to play lists on the go easily on the iPhone.

I mostly enjoy playlists while on trips to games. Usually, I have a gameday list synced and stay with it for a few weeks then create a new one. There are trips where my mood is heavy metal and I am really worked up and other games I need something soothing so I can focus and calm down. Until now, a new playlist was not an option.
As seen in the screen shot, the playlists are tabbed and color coded as well as named for easy discovery. Search through the songs, click and play just like the iPod app.
To create a new list: Click on the plus sign on the bottom left. Name the playlist and click “add playlist.” Simple!
Once the playlist is created, simply search the music to add songs. Search by genre, album, artists, type in a search, or see all music. Once the songs come up, click and hold on the desired song to add to the list. After a second or two the song will bubble up and be available to drag. Drag the song onto the tab of the desired list and the song is magically added to the list.
Clicking on a song gives the option to play it or get info. Song information includes Album, artist, time, play count and last played. When the song plays, a very iPod like view is available with clip art along with a list view for albums. Songs may be repeated or shuffled and the app also includes a volume bar at the bottom.
My favorite feature of the app is that if it is closed, the music continues to play! Just like the iPod app! Close iPlaylist Creator and open the iPod and the song will be shown as playing. If the iPod is playing, the app can be opened and utilized. Another amazing feature of the app is that it is totally FREE and can be found here in the app store.
What I like: The ability to easily create playlists on the go and play them while multi-tasking on my phone!!!
What could use improvement: I would like to see color options for playlists.
