Celebrate the End of Summer and Back-to-School with Our TCL 10 Pro Giveaway!

If you need a way to commemorate the end of our seemingly never-ending pandemic spring and summer, or if you’re contemplating going back to school with the same tired smartphone, we’ve got a giveaway that will put a smile on your face. TCL has sent us five brand new TCL 10 Pro Android smartphones to give away to five of our lucky readers. Ready for something to celebrate? Read on and enter.

Celebrate the End of Summer and Back-to-School with Our TCL 10 Pro Giveaway!

The $449.99 TCL 10 Pro has a gorgeous 6.47″ FHD+ curved AMOLED display (19.5:9 display with 1080 x 2340 pixels) that’s perfect for reading, gaming, and watching your favorite streaming content. With 6GB RAM and 128GB user memory, you’ve got plenty of power and memory for just about anything you might need to do — but it will also accept a microSD card if you need more storage. The TCL 10 Pro has a 24-megapixel selfie and video call cam with LED flash on the front (and all the beauty filters you might think you need, but you probably don’t). It also has four cameras on the back — a 64-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel super-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel super low light camera with dual-LED flash.

It’s also got the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 mobile platform, so it’s speedy and can handle gaming. Best of all, it has a generously sized 4500mAh internal battery that features Quick Charge 3.0 (for charging from 0-50% in 35 minutes), and a 3.5mm headphone jack! You can sign into the TCL 10 Pro with a PIN or password like every other phone, but it also has an in-screen fingerprint sensor and a face unlock sensor. The TCL 10 Pro will work with GSM carriers, including AT&T and T-Mobile, and it is also certified for use on Verizon’s LTE network.

Celebrate the End of Summer and Back-to-School with Our TCL 10 Pro Giveaway!

Carly has one, and this is what she has to say about it:

The TCL 10 Pro is, for lack of a better word, a unicorn. It should not exist — it’s a phone that feels as good as a $1,000 phone for the price of a budget one. The screen is beyond impressive, the phone is nicely responsive, there’s a fingerprint reader and facial recognition built right into it, and it handles the day-to-day media consumption I’ve thrown at it with ease. The battery life is also ridiculous! I’ve had days where my son was on it all day playing, and I’ve been totally convinced the battery was toast, only for it to hang on in standby for 2 more days with less than 10% left. The tradeoff is that while you’re getting a good camera, you’re not getting a flagship camera, and the curved edges can be off-putting for some people. But think about it this way: for under $500, you’re getting a phone that has capabilities far above phones that cost over $1,000 just 2 years ago. This isn’t a budget phone with hand-me-down flagship bits, this is a budget flagship category all on its own!

We’ve got five of these in beautiful Ember Gray to giveaway, and if you’re curious, you can learn more about the TCL 10 Pro by visiting their site.

  1. I have been riding by bike a lot. That was especially easy during the initial lockdown because the roads were so empty.

I have been doing yoga and walking early mornings

  3. watch movies

  4. I’ve been exercising, cleaning, cooking more instead of ordering food, and finally catching up on tv!

I definitely don’t feel safe sending my kids back to school. It’s hitting Texas hard right now. We’ve kept busy by playing games and staying up late! My house is super clean too!

  6. George Comstock | August 3, 2020 at 10:40 pm |

I’ve done far too little during these strange days. 40 days /40 nights/40 lbs is real, folks. I drive a school bus, miss the kids like crazy and know this isolation *can be* harmful to our kids. But I don’t think it’s safe in my county now. We’ll come back for sure, but better safe than sorry imho.

I don’t do much of anything even before the pandemic. Just hanging out at home with my chihuahua and a few stray cats.

We are SUPER lucky to be serving overseas right now, we’re at post in Denmark where is it very safe to send our daughter back to school this year. But when we got home leave over the summer to go home to the USA for a few weeks, we were shocked, we saw it on tv and read about it in cables, but seeing first hand all the masks, the aggression against mask-wearers, the marked floors, all the changes … especially the loss of playgrounds, was staggering! Usually we hate being away from home and live for that next home leave pass … this is the first time we were grateful for our posting.

  13. I have spent the summer working out and doing not much of anything else.

  14. paigechandler | August 4, 2020 at 12:39 pm |

  19. Lisa Pecora | August 4, 2020 at 3:56 pm |

I have been mostly staying in. I have only seen family once since march, and no friends. I am back to work now but still not going out anywhere else except necessities.

  20. Stayed home and cleaned the basement

  21. I’ve been catching up on a ton of Korean dramas and other random TV. We’ve also been making some leeway on our stalled DIY gut remodel. We took a break for like 6 months so quarantine was the perfect reason to get back into it. We’re still miles away from actually finishing though!

  22. I’ve been doing a lot of gardening and reading

  23. StaceMarie | August 4, 2020 at 7:23 pm |

I’ve been walking the neighborhood. Fun to check out everyone’s gardens!

  24. Carolyn Daley | August 4, 2020 at 7:58 pm |

I have walked, watched movies, read a few books, entered contests, and I am currently fostering kitties in my bathroom until I can find homes for them.

  25. Tony Platz | August 4, 2020 at 8:54 pm |

I moved into my own apartment at the beginning of the shelter in place orders, I’ve been settling in and organizing

  32. I do not feel safe having my grandchildren go back to school.

  33. I’ve been going about my normal routine. I already worked from home so not much has changed. Except that I go to Costco once a month instead of once a week. I wouldn’t feel safe sending my kids to school, at all.

  34. Sigh been on the computer playing games far too much.

  35. sarah cool | August 5, 2020 at 4:05 pm |

I’ve been gardening and reading a lot

  36. I’ve been reading and spending time online.

  37. Leland Williams | August 5, 2020 at 5:24 pm |

water sports and outdoors activity with family

  38. no kids here but rocking to tunes and sweeps and my business

  39. Reginald Sandifer | August 5, 2020 at 8:53 pm |

I’m an essential worker so other than wearing a mask in public not much has changed for me.

  40. Not safe sending the kids back to school but being cooped up in the house with them indefinitely is not safe for my blood pressure either. As for what I’ve been doing during lockdown: I’ve grown out a full beard and I’m convinced it’s what’s pushing the scale upward… That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

  41. I have been walking and reading

  42. I don’t feel comfortable sending my son back to school, that’s why we’ve opted
for 100 percent virtual learning.Ironically, he’s more than ready to go back, but I just don’t think it’s safe right now at this point.

  43. we’re keeping our kids at home. it’s still a scary world out there.

  44. Rhonda Grisham | August 7, 2020 at 9:49 am |

I have been sewing. I’ve made masks and watched a LOT of TV…lol

  45. I definitely do NOT feel safe with the kids going back to school. The second wave is coming…OMG! Terrifying!

  46. Richard Hicks | August 8, 2020 at 5:30 am |

I have been getting projects done around the house.

  47. Colleen Boudreau | August 8, 2020 at 10:50 am |

I’ve been cleaning out my garage.

  48. I have stayed busy taking care of my ailing mother. She is unable to do much for herself. I do feel perfectly safe and feel as though most of the pandemic is politically motivated.

  49. I’ve been fortunate to have been and still working during this whole ordeal. I’ve been working close to 60 hours a week for several months now.

  50. Corey Olomon | August 9, 2020 at 1:54 am |

  55. honeypie411 | August 9, 2020 at 9:17 pm |

I have been doing a lot of gardening

  56. James Jenkins | August 10, 2020 at 12:52 am |

I like to walk a lot, for exercise and to explore, so I’ve been taking advantage of the long days to walk later, so I’m less likely to run into other strollers.

  57. I really don’t feel very safe about my son returning to college in the fall.

  58. I go jogging early in the morning before it gets too hot

  59. To keep busy I’ve stayed in contact with friends, tried new recipes (I’m cooking more often), read more, watched movies, and cleaned/organized.

  60. Melanie Comello | August 10, 2020 at 1:57 pm |

I actually do not feel safe sending my child back to school right at this moment. She’s medically vulnerable and actually as of today she’s started distance learning. It’s going to be quite the experience, but you have to do what you gotta do.

  61. Dave McCausland | August 10, 2020 at 11:05 pm |

I have been spending lots of time with my best friend and roommate Sue, she recently was hurt at work when a car drove into her when she was trying to enter the grocery store where she works as an essential worker in the deli. Now i have become her full time care giver. I do like to get out and sit by a lake enjoy a glass of peach iced tea, would love to be able to take some good photos but the phone I have is from the dollar store, I need a serious upgrade, thank you for this amazing opportunity. Good luck to everyone 🙂

  62. I’ve been keeping busy by reading all the books I’ve meant to get around to!

  63. Sandra Gray | August 11, 2020 at 12:04 am |

I’ve tried to stay busy by learning new things and about new subjects. I’ve been trying to focus on my physical and mental health by finding healthier ways to eat..
