LG has dropped their new gram laptops lineup, and they look great! Continuing the brand’s legacy of “go anywhere computing convenience,” LG gram laptops are ultra-light, ultra-portable, and they promise exceptional performance and long battery life.

LG Gram Laptops Come with Thinner Designs & Larger Aspect Ratios

One of the LG gram line’s highlighted features is their 16:10 aspect ratio displays, which are perfect for both casual browsing and working-from-home. With five new models, LG is offering up a little something from everyone, including the LG gram 17 (model 17Z90P), LG gram 16 (model 16Z90P), LG gram 14 (model 14Z90P), LG gram 2-in-1 16 (model 16T90P), and the LG gram 2-in-1 14 (model 14T90P).

Having a 16:10 aspect ratio gives you more screen space to show more so you can get your work done, even if you need to keep a Microsoft Teams window open. Considering how compact these devices are, it’s great that they also managed to enlarge the keyboard and touchpad for better comfort and efficiency.

The 17″ flagship LG gram weighs just under 3 pounds and 0.7″ thick, while the 16″ is just over 2.6 pounds, while the 14″ gram is just over 2 pounds, and they are both just 0.66″ thick. The 16″ 2-in-1 weighs about 3.25 pounds, and it is 0.67″ thick.

The 16″ and 14″ models have a 360º hinge, so you can do presentations on them or prop them up for slideshows or for streaming a movie with it looking more like you’re watching on a regular screen versus a traditional laptop. The new displays are vibrant, and they give great picture quality, sharpness, and contrast. These latest 2021 models also have a four-sided slim bezel design so you can enjoy more screen and less frame.

All of the LG gram laptops are Intel EVO Platform verified, and they have 11th gen Intel Core processors with Iris Xe Graphics and LPDDR4x memory. Both the 16″ models and the 17″ LG gram have 80Wh high-density batteries that LG says can get up to 19.5 hours of use between charges. That’s a laptop you might be able to take on a weekend excursion without having to worry about packing the battery!

The 16″ LG gram 2-in-1 comes with a Wacom AES 2.0 stylus that can be used for navigation or for giving a smooth and precise writing or drawing experience.

LG hasn’t yet released pricing or availability on the new gram line, but we will update once we have the info.
