The Lowdown
My favorite feature of the Meat District Ultimate Grilling Pack is the cuts of meat; they are all of high quality and cook perfectly. This is not the typical frozen box of meat that you could find anywhere else. If you need a quick way to have plenty of fine meats pre-seasoned and ready for the grill, the Meat District Ultimate Grilling Pack is a perfect choice.
Overall
Pros
- Awesome cuts of meats with great seasonings I was really impressed with the quality
Cons
- Being able to choose a mix and match pack would be a nice touch
It is no secret that I love to cook meats. Smoking and grilling are some of my favorite hobbies and one of the few that I would admit I am pretty good at. So when offered, I jumped at the chance to try out the Meat District Ultimate Grilling Pack. The meats come seasoned and frozen, delivered right to your door.
The Ultimate Grilling Pack was delivered in one box and was kept frozen solid via dry ice. It was safely packed, and I would have no issues ordering meat this way again.
The Ultimate Grilling Pack comes with an O.G. Angus Brisket, Chuck, & Short Rib hamburger patties (6), Steakhouse Premium Angus Beef Tri-Tip, Zesty Ranch Chicken Party Wings, Sweet & Sassy Chicken Drumsticks, Shwarma Chicken Thighs, and Garlic Peppercorn Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin.
We grilled up everything except the tri-tip and pork tenderloin for one meal, and then I smoked the others for a second. I got my entire family to agree to weigh in with their opinions as we tried all of the different meats.
All of the meats will be grilled/smoked on a pellet grill, with the tri-tip getting a reverse sear in a hot cast-iron skillet. So let me introduce you to my family, who will be assisting me with this review and giving their opinion on each meat and its seasoning. Frances is my beautiful, talented wife; Peyton is my 16-year-old son, and Riley is my 14-year-old son. I am the old man!
First up are the O.G. Angus Brisket, Chuck, and Short Rib hamburger patties.
Frances: The burgers are okay; Travis could have seasoned them better.
Peyton: Hamburger was pretty good; I would eat again.
Riley: (self-proclaimed hamburger expert) Burgers were good. It is always my first go-to from the grill.
Travis: The burgers were good; I could have seasoned them better.
Next up, we have the Zesty Ranch Chicken Party Wings.
Frances: I loved them! Wonderful taste for a wing. Not spicy, but very flavorful. Favorite meat in the box.
Peyton: The meat was really good. The flavor was good, but I prefer flavors kicked up a notch on wings.
Riley: Amazing. My favorite meat and I loved the flavors.
Travis: Also, my favorite meat. I love wings, and I could easily eat a stack of these while watching a game.
Sweet and Sassy Chicken Drumsticks.
Frances: I liked them. The seasoning had a nice spicy kick, but it wasn’t overdone.
Peyton: I enjoyed the added spice, and the spice was not too hot.
Riley: Really good seasoning, and I also like the extra spice.
Travis: Good seasoning and nice cuts of meat. I’m not a fan of too much spice, but these had just enough to enjoy without overdoing it.
To round out our lunch meats, we have the Shwarma Chicken Thighs.
Frances: This is my favorite seasoning of the meats so far.
Peyton: Great cut of meat. I liked the seasoning, but I’d prefer more spice.
Riley: I really enjoyed the meat. I would have liked more of the seasoning on it.
Travis: Thigh meat is my favorite of the chicken, and these were fantastic. I really enjoyed the seasoning.
Garlic Peppercorn Pork Tenderloin.
Frances: It was juicy and tasted amazing.
Peyton: This is a really good piece of pork. The bacon is a nice touch.
Riley: I liked it. Not as much as the tri-tip, though.
Travis: Excellent cut of meat, and the seasoning was on point.
The final meat of our Meat District Ultimate Grilling Pack was the Tri-Tip.
Frances: Fantastic meat; I like the seasoning.
Peyton: Really good beef.
Riley: I liked it a lot. It’s very tender and tasted great.
Travis: I was pleased how nice a cut of beef this was, and it was full of flavor! The seasoning is totally different than what I normally do, but I really liked it. Unfortunately, I cooked it a few minutes too long for my taste.

So there you have it. The Meat District Ultimate Grilling Pack is a fantastic assortment of pre-seasoned meats. The pack comes frozen in vacuum-sealed packages ready to be thawed out and grilled, and it’s perfect for a big party where you might want various choices for different guests.
We did the meat all in one day for lunch and dinner. With two teenage boys helping with the review, we had no leftovers, but there was a lot of meat. All of the seasonings are unique, but in every instance, they worked well and tasted fantastic.
