According to CASETiFY’s internal research, over 90% of screen cracks happen when the smartphone hits its corner during a fall. To combat that, they’re introducing what they say may be the most protective phone case, the CASETiFY Ultra Bounce Case. Not only can it handle being dropped from up to 32′, but it also sports 10X Military Grade Standard (MIL-STD 810G 516.7) shock protection, and it can be personalized.
The CASETiFY Ultra Bounce Case uses a ruggedized 6-layered protection system and what they are calling ultra bounce corners, which are essentially expanded bumper arches with compression ribs that contain air cavities to provide structural support and added rigidity when you drop your phone.
Your camera module also gets extra protection because there’s not only a 1.2mm raised camera ring, but there’s also a 2.2mm raised lens cover to help mitigate any damage when you drop your device.
On top of that, the inner sides and back of the CASETiFY Ultra Bounce Case are reinforced with layers of the brand’s EcoShock material, which they say is able to “turn the kinetic energy of an impact into heat, with a twister pattern dissipating it across the surface of the case.”
Some other features worth noting are that the cases will have DEFENSiFY antimicrobial coating, and they will be wireless charging capable with MagSafe-specific versions available.
Just because the case is protective, that doesn’t mean you have to settle for plain — like their other case options, you’ll be able to customize your CASETiFY Ultra Bounce Case with a variety of fonts, patterns, and colors, or you can select from one of the seemingly endless designs that CASETiFY is known for.
As if that wasn’t enough, you can feel good about the CASETiFY Ultra Bounce Case because 65% of it is made of upcycled cases through the brand’s Re/CASETiFY program, which has already diverted over 430,000 phone cases from landfills — that’s the equivalent of 88,185 pounds of plastic that’s already been upcycled!
Right now, CASETiFY is confirming mid-September availability (with prices to be announced at that time) for iPhone models, and there is a possibility that Android cases will come at a later date.
