Make Your Workout Enjoyable with Both the FWD-01 and RPT-01 Headphones from Adidas

These days, Bluetooth headphones are pretty much a commodity and they come in lots of different shapes, sizes and prices. So naturally, companies are trying to offer headphones for specific audiences that are designed for a certain purpose. Adidas has the FWD-01 in-ear headphones and the RPT-01 on-ear headphones that provide you with a fantastic way to complete your workout while listening to whatever makes that time go by faster.

JBL Wants Sound to Be a True 360-Degree Experience

One of the greatest things about technology is that it is constantly, relentlessly, moving forwards. Speakers and headphones have reached a point where even entry-level provides a richer experience than the most advanced models 20 years ago. JBL is ready for the next great leap forward, with devices that provide a 360-degree listening experience. The JBL Quantum line are gaming headphones designed to bring the audio experience into the same sharp realism as graphics. They use what JBL calls QuantumSURROUND to make sounds that much more realistic and detailed. Then there are the Quantum ONE headphones, which bring true 360-degree…

Cleer Audio Reimagines How You Listen to Your Audio

I became a fan of CleerAudio in 2019. Starting with their Cleer Ally (which promises 12 hours of Battery life), to their Cleer Enduro which I am currently reviewing; I’ve found their products to be solid. So I was surprised that the company announced new products that are already promising to be better than what they already offer. First are Cleer’s ARC headphones. Complete with an open-ear design that doesn’t actually COVER the ear, the ARC work so you can hear your environment all the while listening to your music. An interesting take on headphones for use, this is safe…

Huawei FreeBuds 3 Review

Huawei begged for comparison to Apple’s AirPods when they made the FreeBuds 3 look like the ubiquitous earbuds. The FreeBuds 3 style is so close to AirPods, that from a few feet away, you’d be forgiven for assuming that the white stem with a chrome end dipping low from your subway seatmate’s ears was the non-noise canceling version of Airpods, but you’d be wrong.

Jabra 75t True Wireless Earbuds Are the Current Champ of TWE

When Jabra entered the ‘true wireless earphone market’ a few years ago with their Elite Sport, I was immediately impressed. They fit reasonably well and sounded great. The Jabra 65t built on that first offering in significant ways, including comfort, sound, and much more. (Read our review.) Their latest offering, the Jabra 75t, takes things to an entirely new level.

Ultimate Ears UE 5 CSX Are the Ultimate in Custom Fit Sound

Ten years ago, I had the opportunity to review a pair of custom in-ear monitors. Creating them was a long process that required numerous steps. They still work and sound great. Thanks to Ultimate Ears, though, there’s now a better way to get custom in-ear monitors. Let’s start this review by walking through the process of creating the UE 5 CSX.

For Their Anniversary, Master & Dynamic Reissues a Classic-Yet-Updated Over-Ear

2019 has been an exciting year for Master & Dynamic — what with their new MW07s, teaming with Kevin Durant for their Noise Cancelling headphones, and even issuing their MW65’s. But it’s their fifth anniversary, and this year and the New York City-based brand has decided to take it back to basics with a slight upgrade that users will love. Master & Dynamic’s way of celebrating a half-decade of premium sound is by reissuing their iconic MH40 over-ear headphones, originally cable-only in a new wireless form, named the MH40 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones. Much like the original design, the MH40 Wireless…

iFrogz AIRTIME PRO Truly Wireless Earbuds Are Under $70!

Some time ago, I reviewed the iFrogz Airtime Truly Wireless Earbuds plus Charging Case. They surprised me. The small, inexpensive earbuds were not only comfortable and offered a secure fit, but they sounded pretty darn good. (Read my review.) The $69.99 iFrogz AIRTIME PRO True Wireless Earbuds offer a more AirPod-esque design, but are they worth the extra money?

Mixcder HD901 Wireless Headphones Offer a Great Value

Until very recently, wireless headphones were seen as premium items but with fewer and fewer devices coming with headphone jacks, having affordable wireless headphones has become important. Mixcder HD901 headphones offer fantastic value for anyone looking for wireless listening without breaking the bank.

AUSOUNDS’s AU-Stream ANC Earbuds: The Better “Pods”

Two of the biggest things I’ve longed from my Airpods seem simple enough — Active Noise Cancellation with a battery life of longer than 3.5 hours. And if they could come in black, that wouldn’t be bad either. Luckily with the AU-Stream ANCs, I finally might have all of the things that I wanted.

IntelliARMOR’s Case for Apple’s AirPods Is Made of Premium Leather

If you have AirPods or intend to get a pair, you should really invest in a case that will protect not only the pods themselves but the case that holds them from sustaining hairline scratches. There’s one case I’ve been using the past few weeks that have surprised me, and I think you should check out. Introducing the CarryOn by intelliARMOR, a hand-crafted leather case designed for the Apple AirPods. Available in three colors: black, brown and camel, each of the clips comes complete with a handy metal clip that is great for attaching your keys, maybe a Tile item…

Gear Diary’s Best of IFA 2019 Awards

Berlin’s annual IFA show is the largest consumer electronics event in Europe with “more digital lifestyle products in one place than any other show worldwide.” After walking the show floor, sitting in on private pre-briefings, standing inside packed press conferences, and attending media-only showcase events, these are the items we’ve chosen for Gear Diary’s Best of IFA 2019 Awards.
