Randomly powers down? Maybe the 2012 edition but mine’s been rock solid.
This is a sad day. Nexus is supposedly not doing well…but I think it is mostly because the Nexus 9 has issues. HTC’s version just isn’t anywhere CLOSE to the level it’s supposed to be! If I am paying 400 dollars for a tablet than the back shouldn’t flex in ! That’s a big reason I didn’t buy one. That and since I have a Nexus 6 I don’t really need it.
My experience with Nexus 7 — sporadically shuts itself down. Nexus 9 – great if you’re looking to lift weights. Nexus 6 – love the big screen size – would be greater if it also didn’t either sporadically reboot or power completely off (as my first Nexus 6 did).
The long and short of this is that the Nexus line was built on low cost affordable quality devices. Which with the most recent line Google has failed to deliver on both fronts.
