Exos-Gear Commuter Series Backpack Review

As technology becomes more mobile, options to carry our gear becomes important. Personally, I prefer carrying backpacks. Not sure if its because I work in a school setting, or I just like the style. I recently was able to try out the Commuter Series from Exos-Gear ($29.95). I filled it with some gear and headed out. Let’s take a look!

Has Jawbone Run Out of Steps?

Jawbone is one of those companies that seems to sit just below the surface of mainstream success. They were well known for Bluetooth speakers and headsets, then they were an early pioneer in fitness wearables. All that seems to have crashed down quickly around them, and it looks like Jawbone is in an ominous position.

Has Windows 10 Ruined My Kool-Aid?

Everyone who knows me and my tech preferences know me as an Apple guy. Some say I have drank the proverbial Kool-Aid. Other than work, I have used Apple products exclusively for almost a decade. A recent review by Judie persuaded me to jump back into the world of Windows. The jump has been surprisingly good!

Kogan Agora 6 Review: Fast, Cheap and Good

In the film and television industry, we have an expression: fast, cheap, and good; pick any two. It no longer costs a fortune to get a smartphone with good performance, a decent screen, and 4G connectivity. But for under AU$200 unlocked, how good can it be? Kogan has sent across their latest own-brand smartphone to find out.

Is My DSLR an Obsolete Dinosaur or an Irreplaceable Friend?

With the increased quality of your phone’s camera, is there less of a need for DSLRs and other common cameras? The camera on the iPhone 6S is a whopping 12 megapixels and 4K video, however, the sensor is not first rate. The new Nikon D500 is around $2000 and has the same 4K video, and it is just 20.9 megapixels (megapixels identify the size of the image; for more information, click here), and it has a great sensor (23.5 mm x 15.7 mm).

Libratone ZIPP, Is It Worth the Extra $50 Over the ZIPP MINI?

We recently took a look at the new Libratone ZIPP MINI. I was impressed with the design, the features and, especially, the sound. The ZIPP MINI is, as the name suggests, the smaller version of the Libratone ZIPP. That begs the question, what do you get for the extra $50 you’ll pay for the regular ZIPP?

2016 GMC Canyon Duramax Joins the Workforce

A little more than a year ago we saw the return of the GMC Canyon midsize pickup. It arrived as a 2015 model with more efficiency and more capability than the previous Canyon (and Chevy counterpart Colorado). For 2016, GMC offers Canyon with a Duramax turbo diesel engine for segment-leading towing and fuel economy.

2016 Subaru Crosstrek Trims the Fat

A few years ago Subaru rolled out a new small utility vehicle dubbed XV Crosstrek. The little cute ute featured most everything Subaru was known for including Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and a smooth Boxer four-cylinder engine. Trouble was that vehicle was overladen with one thing: its name. For 2016, Subaru introduces the Crosstrek.

If you are setting up your kitchen or bar for the first time, then you know that there are quite a few tools that will need to go into your drawer including a citrus press, a corkscrew, a bottle opener, and a jigger.
