Galen Leather Walnut Wood MacBook Stand: Elegant, Ergonomic, and Multi-Talented

It’s a well-known fact that raising your laptop to a better viewing height and adding a keyboard will improve your posture and help your back and neck. What you use to raise your screen opens up a ton of possibilities. We’ve seen plenty of metal stands, but here’s something new and elegant — the Galen Leather Walnut Wood MacBook Stand.

Known for their beautiful leather goods, Galen Leather also has a few select wood products, including this gorgeous walnut wood MacBook stand.

The package arrives in a simple paper wrapper; the stand is wrapped in plastic for shipping.

The two pieces come fit together like a puzzle; that makes or easy storage and transport if needed. The two walnut wood pieces measure 9.5′ long by 5.5′ high by 1.25″ deep; while they are substantial, at 1 pound 13 ounces they aren’t too weighty.

The walnut wood has been “finished with an all-natural tung oil, which is easy to maintain and care for and gives it a silky smooth feel, without making it plasticky.” It is a lovely, deep brown.

There are built-in ledges to hold the MacBook (or almost any other laptop, honestly) in place — you can space the wooden pieces more closely together or further apart depending upon what they need to hold. The stand is stable, and there are even cutouts at the bottom for threading your cable through to keep it out of the way.

The Galen Leather Walnut Wood MacBook Stand is one of those simple things that serve a great purpose.

Due to its design, there are multiple ways to use it …

If you’ve been looking for a laptop stand, and you aren’t interested in metal or plastic, take a look at the Galen Leather Walnut Wood MacBook Stand. It’s as functional as it is beautiful.

The Galen Leather Walnut Wood MacBook Stand retails for $55, and it is available directly from the manufacturer.

I can't tell you how everything works, but I'm known world-wide for using a product until I have a full understanding of what it does, what its limitations are, and if it excels in any given area — or not.
