The two pieces fit together like a puzzle, which makes for easy to store and transport if needed. The two walnut wood pieces measure 9.5′ long by 5.5′ high by 1.25″ deep; while they are substantial, at 1 pound 13 ounces, they aren’t too weighty.
The walnut wood has been “finished with an all-natural tung oil, which is easy to maintain and care for and gives it a silky smooth feel, without making it plasticky.” It is a lovely, deep brown.
There are built-in ledges to hold the MacBook (or almost any other laptop, honestly) in place. You can space the wooden pieces more closely together or further apart, depending upon what they need to hold.
