Over the past 90 nights, I’ve had the chance to try the Purple Harmony pillow. Considered to be the world’s first and only pillow with patented 360º Purple Grid Hex technology around a hypoallergenic Talalay Latex Core, my only main concern was: Is the Pillow as good as the mattress?

The answer to that question is a resounding yes. After testing 50 prototype combinations over a year’s time to create the perfect pillow, the end result is what the World’s leading Boxed mattress company, Purple’s Harmony is a  “Cool to the Core” Pillow that promises to never go flat, and allow enough airflow to not sleep hot on a nightly (or daily if you’re into that type of thing) basis.

There are a lot of key benefits to this pillow that I personally like after testing mine for the last three months that you might enjoy as well. Purple says that the Harmony Pillow offers No Pressure Support, which is a system that is exclusive to the Purple brand that instantly adapts to YOU, not the other way around. That gives you personalized premium comfort. As a stomach sleeper, I think that it feels great, not just in the middle of the pillow but even at the edges as well. Prior to the Harmony, I found myself folding pillows or fluffing them nightly to get that “perfect fit” for my sleep, but this hasn’t been the case with Purple’s pillow; that’s probably thanks to the Purple Grid Hex technology. With a Hypoallergenic Tally Latex Core, the Harmony pillow will stay cool overnight as with enough ventilation, on top of its moisture-wicking cover allowing airflow throughout the entire pillow.

Material

  • Cover: 92% Nylon Fiber, 8% Spandex Fiber; Moisture-wicking treatment
  • Purple Grid: Hyper-Elastic Polymer Purple Grid
  • Core: Ventilated Talalay Latex with Polyester Knit Cover

Dimensions

  • Pillow Size: 26″ x 17″ x 6.5″
  • Ship Size: 26″ x 15″ x 6″
  • Weight: 4.5 lbs

What’s more, the pillow can be machine washed (on cold like most pillows), but rather than drying, you have to lay it flat to dry. Living in an apartment, this means I had to set it on a countertop or in the spare bathroom, but it did not pick up any smells or odors sitting out in either location. In the event you dislike the pillow, you get a 100-night No Pressure guarantee and you can return the pillow, which is similar to Purples’ mattress return policy. Overall, I love it. I just wish I had a purple sleep mask to go with it. The Purple isn’t the cheapest pillow by any means, at $159 per pillow; they do offer installment payments of $14 a month, although I find that to not be my thing at all.
