Ztylus is a self-funded company known for their innovative products, some that we’ve covered previously including their Classic Revolver Kit for the iPhone 7 Plus. Attempting to reimagine an already great product, the company sent us over their new Revolver M4 case to check out.
The Titan Trash Compactor by Joseph Joseph is everything you’ll love from a standard trash can, with an additional solution to making full use of the trash bag that you insert in it.
I have a Waterfield SFBags pouch I keep in whatever bag I am carrying any given day. Inside are some Nomad cables, an external battery, some adapters and a pair of Lighting earbuds. The VogDUO Charger Pro 3-Port USB Wall Charger is a new addition to the pouch. Thin and light, it has three different speedy ports.
In the war that is Android versus iOS, Android has one advantage- flexibility. Android devices aren’t bound by the “closed garden” of Apple products. This leads to some neat innovations. (After all, Android gave us phablets!) Thus we have the new ZTE Axon M.
One thing I absolutely dread about taking photos with the iPhone X, is actually holding it for that once in a lifetime photo, snapping, and ending up with a portion of my finger being in the way. Up until a few weeks ago, this was a huge problem that hasn’t happened since, courtesy of the Just Mobile ShutterGrip. Created by JustMobile, the ShutterGrip proves in every way how innovative a company can truly be with an accessory that I can personally say everyone should have. Essentially, you can clip the ShutterGrip to virtually any phone on the market, pairing it via…
We’ve reviewed quite a few charging stations, but never one that offered four Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 ports and a USB-C port that supports Power Delivery 2.0 Quick charge. With the Oneadaptr EVRI USB-C Charging Station, you can charge your latest-gen iPhone or iPad Pro up to two or three times faster with a USB-C to Lightning cable.
Wireless headphones have become a staple in my life and I love getting great sound. Over the ear options are often pretty bulky, so luckily Phiaton has released the BT 390 Compact headphones ($79.99). These smaller headphones fold up for easy carry but do not disappoint with the audio quality. Let’s take a look.
I was so impressed with the Human Solutions UPLIFT standing desks and accessories I reviewed last fall that I purchased a larger version of the UPLIFT desk for my office at the synagogue. The company also sent a Pursuit Ergonomic Chair for review. It too impressed me, so I also purchased one for my office. Here’s why I’m a fan.
Mophie has become a leader in designing truly high quality and innovative battery packs, but until now they’ve never come out with one that could charge your laptop on the go. The new Powerstation AC has been designed to fully charge a MacBook, as well as an assortment of other devices.
It’s hard to talk about pool parties and camping trips when many of us are still waiting on at least one more winter storm, but spring is coming — and gone are your excuses to stay inside. The Braven Ready Elite is ready for all of your upcoming outdoor adventures; it’s waterproof, shockproof, and it gives 12-hour battery life.
It turns out that hands-free garbage cans are kind of life-changing. To that effect, I’ve been using simplehuman’s first-gen sensor can for nearly 7 years. Of everything in my kitchen, my simplehuman garbage can impresses people the most. Let’s just say that once you get used to having an automated garbage can, you can’t go back.
Fact: Some things are inexpensive and they perform poorly, and then there are some expensive things which are made to last which perform splendidly. When I received the Shinola Canfield On-Ear Wired Headphones, I had no doubt that their construction was top-notch; I couldn’t help but wonder, though, if their sound would justify their $495 price. Shall we find out?
I’m a huge fan of Just Mobile‘s products, and while they’ve always made great aftermarket cables, I feel like their latest — the ZinCable and the AluCable Flat Braided — take their data and charging cable game to a whole new level.
Printed photos have been around since 1827, and if you have boxes or albums full of them sitting in storage, you might be tempted to either pay someone to digitize them or forget them. Another option is using the Epson FastFoto FF-640; it’s a high-speed photo scanning system perfect for digitizing, and that’s just the beginning of its usefulness.
Some weeks ago Tekkima, a new clothing company, reached out to see if we wanted to take a look at one of their jackets. “Why not?” I said. A few days later, the Tekkima Overland arrived. I was amazed by how light it was. Then I put it on and was even more amazed how warm and comfortable it is.
The UA Sport Wireless Flex is another pair of sports earphones resulting from a collaboration between Under Armour and JBL. Previous collaborations have yielded decent offerings that, while good, didn’t get me overly excited. The UA Sport Wireless Flex is different. I love their design, am impressed by their features, and find them to be both comfortable and great sounding.
We’re back with another Solo New York backpack review! This time we’re taking a look at the Altitude backpack; a bag made of lightweight parachute nylon, featuring protective pockets for all of your electronics. With aviator-inspired hardware and military-grade Velcro for attaching the included “New York” patch, the Altitude backpack is built for the streets. The Altitude retails at $79.99.
I never thought I would pay one large for a cellphone – ever. Damn you Apple, but that is exactly what I did around the time we turned the calendars to the new year. So to protect my investment there was one name at the top of my list in cases – OtterBox.
I used to do a lot of early morning runs when I was training for half marathons. Once, I was staying with my parents, and my mother ran into me as I was headed out while it was still dark. She looked over my reflective gear and the headlamp I had over my hat and remarked, “Be safe, you look like a lost miner.”
I wish I’d had the Reliefband 2.0 all the times I’ve had to deal with motion sickness. Examples? I get queasy when I ride in the backseat of a car and cool air isn’t blowing directly on me. I once lost my breakfast and had to quit early while on an all-day deep-sea fishing trip in Aruba; ugh, choppy water.
Buying a new laptop is stressful — especially when you want something that is light enough to carry every day, something you can use in every scenario you might find yourself in, and yet is powerful enough to work as your primary computer. For your consideration, I submit the Lenovo Yoga 920 2-in-1; it’s the best of all worlds.
