Every once in awhile I find myself in a dilemma when reviewing product. Take the new offGRID battery case from Incipio, for example. We recently received a unit for review for the Samsung Galaxy S6 device. I have no problem with the product whatsoever and found it to work just fine – my issue is with the product name.
I never thought I’d be recommending a pair of rose gold-colored headphones, but here’s the deal: while the Monster Limited Edition 24K Rose Gold Over-Ear DJ Headphones may look like a Mardi Gras parade gone off the rails, they sound pretty darn good. Introverts and people who tend to avoid attention need read no further, obviously.
The first JBL Flip Bluetooth speaker was a small wonder. Its audio quality put the Jawbone JamBox to shame. The second generation JBL Flip improved the sound and ditched the unique charger in favor of a universal microUSB. The JBL Flip 3 goes further by improving the sound, adding deep base and going splash-proof. It’s impressive and under $100!
The other day we reviewed the Clublife Adagio Dual Driver In-Ear Headphones with Mic from Tiesto and Audiofly. Today we jump to the high-end of Audiofly’s in-ear headphone lineup… The AF78. These things are amazing. There are well-built, look great and, most importantly, the sound they offer is nothing short of remarkable. I absolutely love listening to music with them.
On a train down to Washington a few weeks ago, I pulled out the review sample of the Club Life Adagio Dual Driver In-Ear Headphones with Mic that had just arrived. They are one of three pair of headphones from Audibly we will be reviewing. My companion laughed and told me he had just bought a pair and loves them.

Lets face it, there’s a thousand battery packs out there on the market, most of which are about 4500mAh battery internally, but what if you just are the type who has two gadgets? That just won’t do. You need something better. MyCharge sent me over their HUGE 12000mAh HubUltra Portable battery charger, and trust me, this baby charges everything. Look: The overall look of the HubUltra is beautiful. The design of it is self explanatory, nothing too fancy. It’s a silver battery pack that is not only nice to hold in the hand, but it’s not too bad when you…
There’s nothing like having a steady camera, especially while shooting video from your smartphone, so a tripod is a good investment to have. Dan previously reviewed the JOBY GripTight GorillaPod for normal smartphones, however they sent me over their XL version for larger devices such as the new iPhone’s and Galaxy’s that are over five inches.
We’ve all panicked while out and about, realizing that our phone battery is low, and either we scramble to the car to get the cable, or we turn off every setting possible in attempts to keep enough battery to make it home. The Echo Connect Key by the company named, you guessed it, Echo, is a small charge key that you can attach to your keyring so you’ll never find yourself without a way to charge your device. Now what if you have an iPhone and your friend offers you their Micro-USB cable? Well there’s a solution to this as well!…
This is going to sound like a total #firstworldproblem (because it is), but one of the issues I run into when I switch between my iPhone 6+ and Huawei Mate S is that without bringing along a spare microUSB cable, many of the smaller battery packs that I own won’t work.
Sometimes you need a little bit of battery life, sometimes, you need some memory, and EMTEC’s Power Connect provides both!
The one thing that you always wish you had with you when you don’t is a charge for your mobile device. Well now there’s a remedy to your problems.
Winnergear sent over their popular MicFlip reversible MicroUSB cable, and I have to say, I’m very impressed! The completely reversible USB Micro USB cable is ideal for those of you who always have a habit of attempting to plug up your devices the wrong way. This may be a solution with no problem, but it’s certainly a problem that you can’t say you’ve never had.
I’ve been on the quest for the perfect backup battery, and now I feel like I’m one step closer to finding what I’ve been looking for: a slim battery with enough power to charge my phone at least twice with no need for extra cables. As I learned on my recent trip to IFA, the CODi PowerBank fits the bill!
Have you ever thought about covering up your Macbook? What about giving your iPhone a nice wood feel to it/ Well I had the opportunity to do both when I received Cover-Up’s Woodback collection for the Macbook and iPhone 6 Plus. If you’ve never been interested in having real wood on your devices, you might need to take a look at Cover-Up’s products. Hand crafted from real wood, and made in Wales, the products each came individually packaged and once I opened the box they came in, the smell of fresh wood caught my attention before the actual look…
I’ve written quite a bit on the topic of smartphone photography in recent years. In the area of expanding the creativity in capturing images with these devices there has been some type lens converter required and usually that necessitated a dedicated case/lens combo. Not anymore, though, thanks to USBFever and it’s new line of clip-on lenses!
IK Multimedia has been a mainstay of iOS music making from the very beginning, and on the vanguard of Android music making since the OS began offering capabilities to make it feasible. Now they are taking the next step with iRig UA, an audio interface that brings the classic iRig/AmpliTube combination to Android devices at last!

The Scosche goBAT 6000 Portable Wall Charger & Back-Up Battery is a great option for power on the go and at home. It’s well worth the $54.99 it costs. Here’s what the company has to say about the goBAT 6000: “For anyone in need of extra power, the goBAT 6000 provides an innovative solution to the dreaded low battery warning.
