My main work devices are my iPhone 6 Plus, my iPad Air 2 and my 15″ MacBook Pro. At any given moment I might be working on any one of them. Having a keyboard that lets me quickly and easily switch between devices is something I have long wanted. Thanks to the Logitech K480 keyboard I now have exactly that keyboard.

When Amazon announced the Echo connected speaker, there was speculation about how it would work in terms of integrating with Amazon and the larger web. About the size of an iPad Air 2, and weighing next to nothing, the keyboard is a handy item to keep in your gear bag. That’s where mine is.

Logitech offers a wide range of impressive products. One of the newest is the Logitech protection[+] for iPhone 6. This inexpensive case offers good protection for the iPhone 6 in a thin, relatively light package. It also works with the company’s line of magnetic mounts. I’m surprised by how impressed I am with this case and can’t wait for one to be released for the iPhone 6+.

Lately consumers have been shunning the traditional desktop PC for laptops. We’re not sure if the earjax Echo by BodyGuardz intentionally look like large salt and pepper shakers, but they do indeed look like something you might see at a diner. Rather than add flavor to your food however, these shakers are all about music taste. $79.99 each, the earwax Echo pack some interesting features into a small footprint.
I do a great deal of my blogging for Gear Diary on my iPad. It’s partly a convenience thing, as I can work on posts from wherever I am, and it’s partly that I have my system down so well with iOS that anything else just throws a wrench in my workflow.
