I call it a “system” because, while the Logitech Connect is portable, it’s amazingly flexible and serves a variety of needs.
I love having a home that is increasingly “smart-enabled.” We have two fans with light kits, a Thermostat and an increasingly large number lights that are “smart.” All of it connects and is controlled through our Amazon Echo, but there are times when you don’t want to use your smartphone or voice for control. I love my Amazon Echo and the way Alexa controls so many of my smart home features; I love the simplicity and power of the Logitech Harmony Hub and Remote, and I especially love the fact that the two now work together. A new Amazon Alexa Skill makes it all possible.
Logi BASE from Logitech is the first non-Apple iPad accessory I’ve tried that uses the new iPad Pro Smart Connector. Not only does Smart Connector work with Apple’s keyboard case so you don’t need to pair via Bluetooth but it also can serve as a charging port. That what the Logi BASE does, and it is just the beginning.
If your TV watching reality includes a basket filled with six or seven different remotes, then I understand your pain. That was how things were at my house before Logitech sent their Harmony Elite Remote to review. I have to say that after a relatively painless setup, the results of consolidating have been so worth it.

There are lots of ways to get better sound from your laptop or tablet but perhaps the best, and simplest, is to plug a decent desktop audio system with two speakers and a subwoofer into it. The Logitech Z533 Multimedia Speaker System is just such a system. It offers 120 watts of impressive sound and is under $100!
The one thing about having a Macbook Air is that even though the trackpad is very handy to have, sometimes after a long day in the office, I’ve gotten so used to using a mouse. I can’t really transition from using one to fully depending on Apple’s Trackpad option.
My first computer speakers came from Logitech and are still going strong. My office speakers come from Logitech and fill my larger study. Now Logitech had unveiled the Logitech z533 Multimedia Speakers. A front-facing subwoofer, 2.25” full range drivers and a wired control pod for convenient power, volume and bass control combine to create huge sound for small dollars.
I remember the days when we had to worry about the ADP person coming in on a Saturday morning to hook up the security in my Mom’s house. Took him all day long, and I’m pretty sure it was expensive.

There is one device in our computerized world that while being indispensable gets the least amount of respect. I am talking about the mouse. Humorously named, yet this is where many of us made our first connection with a computer. Logitech has introduced the MX Anywhere 2 Wireless Mobile Mouse to enhance the portability and productivity of that experience.
Coming from a guy who uses a Home Theater PC (HTPC) daily in both his living room and bedroom, the Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard k400 Plus is THE perfect keyboard for PC-to-TV use. If you’re taking a road trip this summer, you’ll want a way to keep your phone safe, secure but also accessible. After all, holding your smartphone is not only dangerous but it is illegal in many states. The iMagBond Vent Mount system is a great option for keeping your pocket computer available but secure.
Here is a pretty smart device I found, the EasyAcc 6A 5V 30W Charging Dock. This unit can charge up to four devices (including two high current units) and features a built-in stand for you to store a smart device and even watch videos on it. Charge, store, watch. All in one space-saving little unit. What a great little device.
