Travis, or “Coach” as he is affectionately called by many of us, is in the midst of fulfilling one of his lifelong dreams; tonight the Falls City Beavers are one of the high school football teams that will be duking it out for the State Football Championship in their division. As you can imagine, even getting to this point is something that few football players or coaches will ever do. In Texas — perhaps even more so than in other states — the competition between high schools is fierce, and the players and coaches give it their all for a chance to win a ring that is “an amazing status symbol in this state.”
As Coach shared with us last night…
On a charter bus headed to Dallas. Amazing pep rally and send off…. Tomorrow is a big day. A day I have dreamed of since I was a little boy. I was on TV twice this week! Lol. I hope y’all get to watch and share in the championship tomorrow night.
We wish the Falls City Beavers, its coaching staff, and in particular — our favorite coach, Travis Ehrlich — the best of luck.

It’s pretty amazing that a school of only a little over 100 students can simply field a football team, but the fact that they are about to play for the state championship is truly remarkable.
Good luck Coach!!!!!!
Larry – that was exactly what I was thinking … nearly HALF the school is on the football team! It is already an amazing story and I just hope and pray they win tonight!
GO BEAVERS!
Seriously cheering for your Travis! Hope to watch some of the game on the stream.
Best of luck to you and your team, Travis! Go Beavers!
Thank you for the mojo! We did indeed win the State Championship last night 32-7. I cannot explain the feeling!
We are so proud of you and your boys, Coach! :-))
