TCL has quietly worked to become a powerhouse in the smartphone and tablet worlds. They were already excelling at televisions, and they’ve taken that ability to make sharp, clear screens while also fitting them in your pocket or bag. Their latest achievement is the TCL Tab 10 5G, coming to T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile for all your on-the-go viewing needs.
A few things make the Tab 10 5G stand out as an exceptional value for $299.99. First of all, you’re getting a 10.1″ FHD screen with TCL NXTVISION. This means you’ll get an amazing viewing experience while you’re reading the news, checking your email, and watching your favorite streaming service.
Everything will look great, even if you’re scratching your head over exactly what’s going on when you watch The Resort. (It’s time travel right???) Dual speakers mean that no matter what you’re watching, it will sound excellent as well!
Under the hood, the Tab 10 5G runs a MediaTek Kompanio 800T 5G chipset, 2.4GHz Octa-core processor, and 4GB of RAM.
In other words, the tablet will have a swift connection and enough power to handle all your reading and viewing needs, including Floating Window Mode, which lets you multitask. No one has to know you were browsing Facebook AND that work spreadsheet.
They’re also using Face Unlock for extra security, and the 8000mAh battery means it won’t die too quickly.
And while no one sets out to use a tablet as a camera, there is an 8-megapixel camera on the back for photo emergencies and a front-facing 5-megapixel camera for video calls.
Nice “generic” brand with great features if you don’t want to splurge for the namebrand models that cost a few hundred more.
It’s nice to have options outside the dominant players … especially because they generally provide better specs for the money. TCL has been making some nice products lately.
TCL is a very good brand. They make a great cell phone. I expect the
Tab 10 5G to be no less than impressive. From this article I gather it’s a winner.
This has impressive capabilities for the right price point
The Floating Window Mode is the feature that has me most excited about this tablet.
Still trying decide with my low cell usage if 5G even matters to me
