This review of the Huawei MateBook has been a long time coming. I like the MateBook a great deal, but I’ve been struggling to figure out exactly what this Windows 10 mobile device is. From the specs, it looks to be Huawei’s answer to the Microsoft Surface, but it is more complicated than that. Let’s take a look.
Judie reviewed the Android version of the Lenovo Yoga Book last month and loved it. She just finished using it while covering CES 2017 and has enjoyed it so much that I just ordered one. That, however, is not the only Lenovo product worthy of note.
The tech world just got a bit smaller today as Samsung Electronics announced that their impressive line of Gear devices- including the Gear S3, Gear S2, and Gear Fit- are now compatible with iOS. Let me get this out of the way up front- I hate Apple EarPods., I don’t like the way they look. I don’t like the way they feel in my ears and, too often, they don’t even stay there. I’m not a fan. Thankfully, for under $60 the Scosche HPL1 earbuds can happily take the place of the EarPods.

Samsung Electronics’ unveiled their new QLED TV Series QLED TV today at CES 2017. Judie was there for the reveal and to say that it is “the world’s first television to reproduce 100 percent color volume thanks to new and advanced Quantum Dot technology.” Just doesn’t cut it. To call the FABRIQ speaker cute is a fair assessment. It is fair… but it is incomplete. Because while the FABRIQ is a small, cute, Bluetooth speaker, it is also a smart speaker that integrates with Amazon Alexa, has an affordable $49 price, and offers multi-speaker connectivity.
