Its hard to believe we’re so close to getting another glimpse into the Star Wars universe, as Star Wars The Force Awakens is set to arrive this Christmas. And to get all of us even MORE excited, as part of Star Wars Celebrations we get a new teaser trailer with a Luke voice-over, and a peek at Han and Chewie!
Jawbone is quite busy these days. In addition to finally launching the UP3 Fitness Tracker that’s been delayed for months, they decided to get ahead of themselves and release two more trackers at the same time: a fairly simple UP2 device, and a high-end UP4 that tracks your fitness AND acts as a mobile payment device!

On Tuesday, Synology announced the launch of two new NAS systems: the DS1515 for home and business and the rack mount RS815 for businesses. The DS1515 is a 5-bay system with a quad-core processor and the RS815 sports 4 bays and is only 12” deep. The DS1515 and the RS815 are available now for $649.99 and $599.99 respectively.

Since Apple snatched up Beats, many figured they would start working on a music streaming service, and it looks like they are on their way to that. Late on Friday, Apple released three new colors for their Beats Solo 2 Wireless headphones to match the three available colors of the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus: space gray, gold, and silver.
Utah-based smartphone manufacturer Saygus has been working tirelessly on their powerhouse Saygus V2 Android smartphone. “Powerhouse” isn’t said lightly here, as it packs a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 3GB RAM, 64GB onboard storage, and two expandable memory ports up to 256GB. After months of anticipation, Saygus is aiming to ship the V2 at the end of May.
Thanks to the most recent iOS 8.3 update pushed by Apple earlier in the week, if you have an iPhone on the Sprint Network, you’ll be able to actually make calls over Wi-Fi, for free.
A few years ago my son and his friends were really into the webcomic Homestuck, a quirky adventure created initially in MS Paint that became quite the sensation based on the characters, setting, humor, stories and imaginative variations. Game developer Running With Scissors is no stranger to controversy, as the company name suggests! Their game ‘Postal‘ came out in 1997 when ‘Going Postal’ was fairly new and much in the public mind. Postal 2 and 3 went out of their way to offend, but now we get word that Google won’t allow Postal on the Play Store.
The Witcher 3 isn’t even out yet with a release planned for next month, yet we have just gotten word that developer CD Project Red is planning two large expansions, and has just put up for pre-order what they are calling The Witcher 3 Expansion Pass, which includes both expansions to be released over the next couple of years.
