Full Transparency: I carry WAY too much tech with me virtually everywhere, to the point my backpack is like sandbag weight training. What’s a guy to do when carrying tones of tech with him everywhere he goes? Find a suitable organizer.

So I’ve been checking out Jelly Comb’s Electronic Accessories Organizer on my vacation in terms of everyday carry because clearly, I have hoarding issues. With a travel organizer I’m limited tot he confines of the organizer itself, which in this case comes in three compartments that make up double layers. The first layer comes complete with a padded pocket that is suitable for your E-Reader, complete with loops to keep it in place so it will not fall out. It’s protected with five mesh pouches that are suitable for your cables and cords. As someone who likes to have a backup to every cable I’ve found out that for the sake of space (and for Dan to not say that I carry too much crap), to opt for a multi-charging cable. With this, I’ve purchased Znines Multi-charging Cable that is a 4-in-1 Multiple USB Cable that comes complete with two Lightning, a Micro-USB port and a USB Type-C port which allows me to charge my iPhone, iPad Pro, and my PowerBeats Pro. And the Micro-USB Port is great for charging my Jabra Elite 65t’s which I still use.

At the middle of the Jelly Comb organizer there is a flippable organizer that separates a larger back pocket which allows you to fit larger cables, as well as slots for SD cards should you see fit. This is typically where I place my USB-C to HDMI cable, my ChromeCast, and even the 10-foot USB-C to USB-C cable that I use for charging my MacBook Pro from my Satechi 75W Dual Type-C PD Travel Charger.

Finally at the back of the Organizer there’s enough space for my larger items that I travel with, which are my Skullcandy Indy’s, the Jabra Elite 65t’s that I told you about earlier, and items like a pocket translator, mints, and other thing, like my Anker PowerWave+ that is a wireless charger for my smartphone as well as an Apple Watch charger which is ideal for traveling. (Anker just released an update which I would do a separate review of soon.)

What’s more, the Jellycomb has pockets on the outside, with the front housing three separate pockets for things like dongles, more memory cards and other smaller gadgets that will sit underneath the flap on the front. On the back there’s a nice zippered pocket that I house my Logitech Pen for use with my iPad.

Overall though, I would be lost without proper organization and the Jelly Comb gives me enough of that to carry my essentials and just that. There’s no need for excessive items, and it fits in my backpack with ease. At $19.99, the price is right, and cost a bit less than the competition on Amazon, but work just as well.

  1. Oh Greg… great gear kit but I’ve seen what you carry in it and I’ll say it again, “You carry too much crap!” (And that’s coming from someone who carries too much crap.)
