    I attended Community College, and I remember that it was actually a more tolerable experience than high school ever was. I learned how to take online classes, and I do prefer them to on-campus classes.

    I attended Cal State University-San Bernardino as well as University of Phoenix, and I loved the quality of the classes, faculty, and the ability to balance my work life with my academic pursuits.

    Portland State University! I love that it’s in the heart of Portland and it’s a great open minded community! I love that there is all age groups that attend PSU! In fact my daughter and I both have attended at the same time!

  59. I attended my states’s flagship public university. What I liked about it was the size. It was big enough to feel like the real college experience, but not too big. What I didn’t like, was the exploding enrollment. It seems they were letting lots of people in and everything was overcrowded. Many felt like quantity and money was more valued than quality and education.

  60. I went to Caltech for undergrad. I liked that they gave a great deal of freedom to students to take advantage of the many opportunities there.

    I went to a community college for almost 2 years but never made anything of it. My daughter on the other hand is starting her junior year at Lenoir Rhyne University. She is the first person in my or my hubby’s family to go to a 4 year college or university. I’m very proud of her. She loves that this university has very small class sizes. You can actually talk the professors and they know who you are.

    My teen is attending MOT Charter High School and ended the year with a GPA of 4.06 taking honors course, obtaining 7 college credits just this past year and will be earning 9 more this year. In addition to getting knock out grades, she played volleyball, softball, did cheer, the school musical, and krav maga. She loves her school because while it is tough it is a self thinking school with learning as well.

  119. I attended University of Oregon and my professors there were amazing teachers! I learned so much and it helped me greatly with my career in working with people with developmental disabilities. Now I’m working with my youngest son with special needs providing him with one to one assistance he needs for distance learning. My oldest son will be going to college next year.
