Lenovo ThinkReality A3 Brings Super-Futuristic Augmented Glasses to Enterprise Users

Lenovo does more than just computers and accessories; they also own Motorola, and that leads to a whole new mobile world as well. While most of us laughed off the sci-fi future that Google Glasses showed, there’s a market for a hands-free way to access all sorts of data safely and easily. Lenovo is taking that to the next level with ThinkReality A3, augmented-reality glasses for the enterprise user.

Roku Announces It’s the #1 Selling Smart TV OS in the US and Canada

As we recently posted, Roku is expanding its reach by obtaining exclusive rights to all of the failed streaming platform Quibi’s content. That is just one small reason Roku announced that, according to NPD’s Weekly Retail Tracking Service, they are the #1 selling smart TV OS sold in the U.S. and Canada. I can totally appreciate why.

Roku Expands Reach with Exclusive Content from Quibi

Until the past September, I hadn’t used a Roku device in years. A work project required me to get one, and I was truly impressed with what Roku has become. I’m even planning to add Roku setup boxes to my other televisions! Now Roku has announced exclusive rights to Quibi’s library of more than 75 shows and documentaries.

The Happiest Baby SNOO Smart Sleeper Bassinet Review: The Best Six Months of Sleep

Being first-time parents came with many helpful suggestions of “things we should get.” Some were useful, but we ended up not needing many of those items; some of them we ended up regretting instantly, exchanging them for things we would actually use. But one of the saving graces over the first 5 months of our daughter’s life hasn’t been new toys or a NoseFrida, but what she’s slept in. After the past few months, it’s been repeatedly shown why the Happiest Baby SNOO Smart Sleeper Bassinet has been the best thing we’ve used with or our newborn.

If that sounds good to you, then read on for Acer‘s updated gaming monitors, the Predator XB273U NX, Predator XB323QK NV, and the Nitro XV282K!

Samsung Goes Greener and Offers More Accessibility with New TVs

At Samsung’s (virtual) press conference presentation yesterday, the company announced new products and initiatives that reflect their commitment to innovation. Televisions that are more immersive than ever were on display, as were innovations that can make entertainment more accessible to more people. Here’s a look at some of what they shared.

Pitaka MagEZ Digital Travel Kit Review: Travel Light and Connect Well with This EDC

Before the pandemic, when I would travel (remember doing that?), I usually packed a gear pouch loaded with cables, batteries, adapters, and more. The resulting package was bulky, cumbersome, and it weighed a lot, but it kept me connected in any situation when I was away from home. Even when I’m just going out and about or to the office, I’ll usually bring too much gear with me, but the Pitaka MagEZ Digital Travel Kit makes that a thing of the past.

Buyer Beware: Amazon Reprints Some Books Poorly and Without Disclosure

I’ve always liked is Star Trek: The Next Generation. I like the show so much that in 1991 when Pocket Books brought out the Star Trek: The Next Generation Technical Manual, I had to have it.  I bought it and thumbed through it so often that I eventually wore it out. I recently ordered a replacement copy from Amazon. However, what I got was different than what I expected; it wasn’t the original book or even a proper reprint. Evidently, Amazon reprints older books themselves, and it’s not the quality you might be led to expect.

Dell Brings Security, Recycling, Curved Monitors, and More to CES 2021

There are a few things you can count on every January: everyone will suddenly get the urge to exercise, you can never go wrong complaining that it’s either too cold or not cold enough, and an army of laptop and computer upgrades will be announced at CES. Dell is leading the charge with new Latitudes, Precision Workplaces, Optiflex towers, and monitors galore!

The Most Metal Conspiracy Theory Ever!

It seems like the past few years have spawned more conspiracy theories than at any other time in my life — or at least, there have been more conspiracy theories that were totally ridiculous yet not laughed off universally. But this week, I came across a conspiracy theory I could get behind! A couple of common conspiracy theories from recent years are how 5G circuits are responsible for all manner of things and that some kind of secret tracking chip is being implanted in people as part of the COVID vaccines. These combined in a conspiracy theory out of Italy,…
