Lenovo has been on fire the last few years with some amazing consumer offerings. I found a stack of old CDs in our attic a few weeks ago, and I was enjoying the nostalgia of listening to mix CDs I made 10-15 years ago. But as I’ve gone through the various tracks, I noticed a disturbing trend; many of the social issues being addressed in this CDs are still issues a decade later.

I am a huge fan of “Jurassic Park“. It easily ranks in my top five movies of all time, even if the sequels were a little weaker. So yes, I am quite excited for “Jurassic World”, but the trailer has lowered my enthusiasm from “HECK YEA” to “Yea…hopefully they don’t screw this up.”
Sarah has had a bad run of iPhones drowning due to toddler curiosity. Luckily, a friend of ours was generous enough to pass along a Lifeproof Nuud case that he wasn’t using anymore, and her phone has thankfully not drowned in a while. But it still needed more protection, and that’s where the company’s excellent customer service came into play.
Sarah and I went to Michael’s craft store this morning to shop for frames. As we walked in, Sarah received an email offering 25% the whole store tonight, so we picked out what we liked, and Sarah planned to return during the sale. When she got there, she discovered the frames she liked had mysteriously increased in price by 15%!

Amazon announced a big Kindle update today, but the biggest new feature is probably Family Library! Basically, you can now link your household Amazon accounts (and Kindle libraries) together for sharing.
