Get in Line: ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ Release Date Revealed!

One of the most anticipated Xbox One exclusive video game releases of this year now has a release date. Published by Microsoft Studios and developed by 343 Industries, the first-person shooter game Halo 5: Guardians will be the sixth installment in the popular game series featuring the Master Chief along with the new Spartan Locke character who appeared in the live action series Halo: Nightfall.





Avernum 2: Crystal Souls Coming to iOS April 15th

In my Mac/PC review of Avernum 2: Crystal Souls, I said “as you make more and more choices in one direction or the other they add up, your reputation is altered and the world before you subtly shifts. It’s wonderful to have a game so focused on your experience as a gamer.” The iPad version is coming April 15th!

Playstation Mobile Closing Storefront in July 2015, Shutting Down November

Playstation Mobile was the initiative Sony launched in late 2012 allowing ‘certified’ Android devices to play certain Playstation games. It started with Sony-Ericsson and the XPeria Play, and later extended to a number of HTC devices. However, in 2014 version 2.0 of the service was limited to the PS Vita and TV, and now the entire service is shutting down.

Magicka 2 Casts Its Spell on PC and Playstation 4 on May 26, 2015!

Just over four years ago Arrowhead Game Studios released Magicka, a hybrid RPG-action-adventure game with a smirking sense of humor and loads of fun and stuff to discover. Since then they have released a bunch of DLC and two expansions, been featured in Indie/Humble bundles, and the game remains an absolute blast to play – and now we’re getting a sequel!
