Ecovacs DEEBOT 711 Is a Lean, Mean, Smart Cleaning Machine

We’ve covered many robot vacuums here at GearDiary, but I haven’t seen many as smart or quiet as the Ecovacs DEEBOT 711. Packed with features like visual mapping technology, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa compatibility, and 110-minute runtime, the DEEBOT 711 stands as one of the better robot vacuums on the market. Eufy Continues to Impress with the Wi-Fi Connected RoboVac 35C

Our friends at Eufy and Anker continue to iterate and improve their products, as evidenced with the Eufy RoboVac 35C. The 35C is very similar to the Eufy RoboVac 30C we previously reviewed, however, it adds a touch control panel to the top of the vacuum. Also, the RoboVac 35C is sold through retail, while the 30C is sold via Amazon.

Neato D7 Connected Is an Improvement from the D6, Especially If You Have Pets

Having recently reviewed the D6 Robot Vac by Neato, I already knew what to expect from their products, but boy was I in for a treat when I received the Neato Botvac D7 Connected. Not only was I amazed by its ability to navigate my home, but even more by how more refined this particular model truly was. At $829, it’s certainly not the cheapest robot vacuum cleaner on the market, but using it for the past few months, it’s certainly one of the more efficient ones, and I’ve reviewed several. But before we get into the nitty-gritty, let’s talk…

Gear Diary’s Best of the 2019 New York Toy Fair

Once again we explored the New York Toy Fair, going in search of some standout products. I walked over five miles trying to discover the toys worthy of our “Gear Diary’s Best of” moniker, and … I think I found them. There were many great items to see, but these are the seven that stood out to us.

Anki Cozmo Is a Robot That’s Fun for the Whole Family

Anki Cozmo is a friendly robot with a one-of-a-kind personality. Cozmo is playful, can perform tricks, sing songs, and explore his environment. He can even recognize your face! You can also take care of him like a pet when he needs to be “fed” and “tuned up.” My kids are obsessed with Cozmo and yours will be as well.

Gear Diary’s Best of CES 2018 Awards

With more than 4,000 companies exhibiting at CES, choosing the best of CES was a challenge. Even so, we want to recognize the products we saw that are truly innovative, take technology in new directions or, in one case, make something great accessible to every consumer.

Roomba Creator Made This Awesome Robot That Pulls Weeds

Gardening is a fun task that requires hard work and dedication. But, for your garden to be a success, you must continuously water and plant, as well as pull those weeds, which is — admittedly — not so fun. In every garden, nasty and pesky weeds tend to rear their ugly heads. It’s only a matter of time before they become a nuisance.

Chip-Chick and a Robot Share a CES 2014 Moment

It was only a matter of time before our friend Helena from Chip-Chick found someone with whom she could truly relate. Thankfully we were there with her at CES 2014 to capture the moment. You can check out Chip-Chick’s great content here; when you visit, make sure to wish Helena and her new pal the best! 😉

Hate Doing Windows? WINBOT Is the Bot for You.

When Elana and I moved into our current home, we increased the number of windows more than ten-fold. Yes, our house is more windows and sliding doors than it is wall. We love it, but boy does that glass get dirty. That’s where the WINBOT I saw today on the floor at CES 2014 could come in quite handy.
