The Lenovo Yoga 7i is a 15” 2 in 1 laptop that is big, powerful, and it has a starting price of under $950. I’ve been using it for the past few weeks and, despite being a Mac guy, I’ve been rather impressed. The 15” screen hits a sweet spot between screen space and portability at an accessible price.
I’ve long been a fan of V-MODA headphones, so I’m excited to report that they have just announced their first Bluetooth active noise-canceling headphones, the V-MODA M-200 ANC. As we recently posted, Roku is expanding its reach by obtaining exclusive rights to all of the failed streaming platform Quibi’s content. That is just one small reason Roku announced that, according to NPD’s Weekly Retail Tracking Service, they are the #1 selling smart TV OS sold in the U.S. and Canada. I can totally appreciate why.
Until the past September, I hadn’t used a Roku device in years. A work project required me to get one, and I was truly impressed with what Roku has become. I’m even planning to add Roku setup boxes to my other televisions! Now Roku has announced exclusive rights to Quibi’s library of more than 75 shows and documentaries.
At Samsung’s (virtual) press conference presentation yesterday, the company announced new products and initiatives that reflect their commitment to innovation. Televisions that are more immersive than ever were on display, as were innovations that can make entertainment more accessible to more people. Here’s a look at some of what they shared.
Before the pandemic, when I would travel (remember doing that?), I usually packed a gear pouch loaded with cables, batteries, adapters, and more. The resulting package was bulky, cumbersome, and it weighed a lot, but it kept me connected in any situation when I was away from home. Jabra has done a fantastic job with its true wireless earphones. The original Jabra Elite Sport was good, and they’ve only gotten better with each iteration. Now they’ve released the Jabra Elite 85t. It packs even more tech than the excellent Jabra Elite 75t and offers native active noise cancellation. But is the new offering better than the Jabra 75t?
When the pandemic started and we began working from home, Raina and I both set up dual-monitors at our desks. My setup is great, but when I want to work on my laptop, I now find the 13” screen a bit too constraining.
