Last year we reviewed the Nixplay digital frame. I love the large vibrant screen, the ease of use, and the ability to add pictures directly from your smartphone using the free app. Now the company has released the Nixplay Seed Digital Frame. Available in 7”, 8”, and 10” and a variety of colors, prices start at just $89.99!
The one thing that a lot of companies who attempt to make wallet cases for smartphones do is that they attempt to cram your entire wallet onto the back of your phone. Luckily, Bellroy is a company that prides themselves on simplicity, and with their 3-Card iPhone Case, I feel like they got everything right!
There are lots of ways to get better sound from your laptop or tablet but perhaps the best, and simplest, is to plug a decent desktop audio system with two speakers and a subwoofer into it. The Logitech Z533 Multimedia Speaker System is just such a system. It offers 120 watts of impressive sound and is under $100!

We’ve tested plenty of iPhone 6s & 6s Plus cases out on the market here at Gear Diary, but none quite like the SwitchEasy cases that are out now for the latest and greatest iPhone model. And we had the chance to review them!
InCharge is a successfully funded IndieGoGo project that solves a lot of first-world problems us gadgets users have: Not having a cable to charge our devices at all times.
The notion of a kickstand phone case is intriguing to me as its such a new development: only in the last few years have we had the screen size and camera resolution to make it useful. The Moshi Kameleon for iPhone 6/6s is a kickstand case for your iPhone that hides it’s utilitarian nature in a solid looking shell.
When I purchased my Apple Watch I knew I wanted a dock for it. After all, I don’t want to leave my watch simply sitting on my table charging each night. That, however, meant an additional device charger on my table. The Griffin WatchStand allows me to charge both my phone and a second device at the same time.
How’d you like to put your iPhone into a case that could survive just about anything short of a nuclear blast? If your job takes you outdoors on a regular basis, or even if you just want to know that your phone will be safe by the hot tub or pool, the LUNATIK TAKTIK 360 could be your perfect solution.
I tend to carry my phone ‘naked’, but have always demanded that my kids and my wife use a case. Since discovering thin and light cases can provide excellent protection we’ve used several, and the iGlaze Armour for iPhone 6/6s is a solid option for when you need a case that is unobtrusive and reasonably priced.
The IK Multimedia iRig Acoustic is something totally new and hugely innovative. As the company notes it, “Reinvents Guitar Miking for Mobile” and does so in a smart, innovative way that musicians are going to love. It is the first acoustic guitar mobile microphone/interface for use with iOS devices, Macs and Androids too! It is nicely-priced and easy to use! As IK Multimedia explains, “Now acoustic players can get stunning, studio-microphone quality sound for recording and live performance from any acoustic guitar anytime and everywhere.” iRig is the best-selling mobile interface of all time. With the iRig Acoustic it is,…
If you’ve already invested a lot of money in an indoor portable speaker, you’ve probably caught yourself babying it. It doesn’t go outside, and you would never allow it to fall — on purpose, anyway. But wouldn’t you like to have one that you could take everywhere without worry?
I had the opportunity to review Cheero’s Power Plus 3 backup battery pack. The 13400mAh battery is small and round and although it has the same qualities as the Ingress I reviewed a few months ago, it packs a bit more in its frame, because it’s not the size of the boat…
Back in 2007, Livescribe introduced a product that bridged the analog and digital worlds-you use a physical pen and real paper, but everything you do is digitized and stored to be searchable and categorized. It was awesome, and just got better-in 2014 Dan reviewed the Livescribe 3, which I continue to love.
It seems like there’s a new battery pack released every week, and as a reviewer it is easy for me to become jaded — thinking I’ve seen it all. You really need to bring something special to the table if you want to wow me, and that’s exactly what the Techlink Recharge 5000 has done.
As a recent iPhone owner, the one thing that is always around to review are cases for the iPhone. Silk Innovation was kind enough to send out a selection of their new cases for the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus for my family to check out. Will they unseat the Moshi Luxe as my favorite iPhone case? Let’s find out!
One thing I have seen with many iPhone cases is the option to throw a credit card or ID in the case itself. There just seems to be a need to have a card with them. Will the CM4’s Q Card Case excite me or will it continue to bore me? Let’s find out if it’s worth a buy!
The other day we reviewed the Plantronics Backbeat Pro+ headphones. I love them but Raina, who likes their sound, found them too big, bulky and heavy on her head. She’s right. Thankfully, I also have a pair of Plantronics Backbeat Sense Wireless Headphones on hand for review. They are light, comfortable and sound great; even Raina was impressed by them.
One of the things that I loved about my monogram Louis Vuitton Zippy organizer wallet was its design. It could hold all of my credit and ID cards, bills, and plane tickets in one compact, zippable clutch The only thing it couldn’t do was hold my phone; if it had a little bigger pocket, it would have been perfect.
I’ve been on a kick lately where I haven’t had a case on my phone at all, but that’s not very smart — especially considering that my phone is brand new, and I need to keep it pristine for when I ultimately eBay it. Using the new Just Mobile TENC Self-Healing Case is the next best thing to being naked.
Halloween seems to bring out the SPOOKY SALE in everyone, and Just Mobile is no exception. They are hosting a 40% sale on various aluminum, leather, or aluminum and leather cases with AutoHeal Screen protector combos. Side Note: I just reviewed the AutoHeal, and I love it. For a limited time you can get the AluFrame Leather + AutoHeal (iPhone 6/6S), the SpinCase + AutoHeal (iPhone 6/6S), the AluFrame + AutoHeal (6/6S), and the AluFrame + AutoHeal (6 Plus/6S Plus) for $39.90.
