Pebble Rounds Out Their Lineup with the New Pebble Time Round!

Pebble is having a very busy year! They ran a record-breaking Kickstarter for the Pebble Time/Pebble Time Steel, and now they’ve surprised everyone by rolling out another new watch, the Pebble Time Round. Yes, a ROUND smartwatch, with the guts of a Pebble and the style of a normal watch!

Jamstik+ The Smart Guitar Review

When I started playing the guitar in the early 80’s, I dreamed of having a cool electric guitar with some cool technology. It is now 2015 and I have now played a small, portable guitar that connects to my smartphone and tablet. The Jamstik+ is a wireless, compact MIDI guitar that needs no tuning and costs $299. Let’s take a look! The Jamstik+ is quite unique looking. Kind of like you took a guitar and cut the heart out to make a new kind of instrument. The Bluetooth enabled guitar sports real steel strings and frets giving it a realistic…

Browsing the Hammacher Schlemmer Catalog

We routinely get the Hammacher Schlemmer catalog at our house, because apparently someone mistook us for people looking to waste money. I was thumbing through it the other day, and I realized there are really only two categories of shoppers for Hammacher Schlemmer: recent lottery winners, and people reading the Hammacher Schlemmer section of “Skymall” while drunk on a plane.

The MicFlip Reversible USB Cable by Winnergear Is Pricey, but Appreciated!

Winnergear sent over their popular MicFlip reversible MicroUSB cable, and I have to say, I’m very impressed! The completely reversible USB Micro USB cable is ideal for those of you who always have a habit of attempting to plug up your devices the wrong way. This may be a solution with no problem, but it’s certainly a problem that you can’t say you’ve never had.

The Foot Hammock is a Divisive, But Potentially Helpful, Desk Tool

Most gear reviews aren’t terribly controversial or difficult. Occasionally we’ll test hardware that doesn’t work right, or a piece of software that’s buggy. But The Foot Hammock was such a headache to install I nearly gave up on the whole review, until my coworker fell in love with the concept and convinced me to give it a try!

Koss Pro4S Full Size Headphones Let You Go Pro for Under $150

My first over-the-ear headphones were made by Koss. That’s going back almost 40 years. The Koss Pro4S headphones hearken back to those headphones for just $149.99. More importantly, these full size, over-the-ear headphones are super-comfortable and sound fantastic. Designed for professionals but priced for the consumer market, I’ve been more than mildly impressed by them. Let’s check them out!

Road ID Gives Parents and Kids Peace of Mind (With a Little Bit of Style!)

I’ve talked before about how every athlete should have a Road ID, but there’s another market that could use one: kids with allergies. Road IDs are tough, and meant to be worn in grueling circumstances, so they’re perfect for surviving toddlers. We bought a Road ID Slim for my son with food allergies, and we’re very pleased with our purchase!
